Braxton Merritt Appeal: Headcount with Attitude

I must add the fact that Braxton Merritt made an unsolicited telephone call to my unlisted cellphone on Saturday, November 13, 2010. He intended to discuss possible incentives that might encourage the opponents of his development to support his position. I suggested that any such conversation was more appropriate with someone more directly involved with this particular issue... like Dr. Eve Elting.

There is no reason to allow any more unsolicited comments promoting your development on my channel. Here, there will be no influence peddled by you or anyone else offering financial incentives to affect the rational consideration of factual evidence. Get your own channel.

If you "want to take a stand" then be sure to man up and provide the appropriate video to support your position... or maps... or variance requests... etc.

That beeping said. I do believe that my company and the subcontractors we have employed have done a really good job with the piece of land in focus. I have been doing a good amount of work in this area and would not let a shotty development go in with my company's involvement. Mr. Merritt is one of a small list of "Out of Town" clients that I've done business with. Most of the work I've done in T or C has been for area residents.

Interesting video. I hope that you can put up some of the opposition's testimony and cross examination.

I think it's definitely good to take a stand for something you believe in and speak out against what you think is wrong or inappropriate. And I think it's equally important to make sure your efforts are focused in a way to make the future better.
