I really dont get this, I have copied everything you do and my plane just dosent respond, I think it is due to the fact that on this video you were heading in the right direction for the runway already, what happens if your coming in side on? Thats my problem so it dosent respond, so fustrating!

@1234notorious If you are below the glide slope do not disable alt hold it will disable by itself when you intercept the glide slope. The heading will turn off when you press the approach button.

DONT WATCH THIS TUTORIAL. no offense but it's a piece of shit. You never retracted the flaps after takeoff, and you never added them to full before touchdown. You don't use auto brakes like that. If you did, he'll would brake loose inside the cabin. Also, reverse thrust is only used to a certain speed (which I don't use The 737, so I don't know). Sorry but this tutorial fails.

I discovered out, the ILS approach won't work if you not announce your approach to the tower...

I tested it over and over... Without contacting the tower the plane does allign with the runway, however it does not disable the alt hold and will fly over the runway...

Contact the tower and requesting the correct runway (if the tower will select another runway than your ILS is set on), the alt-hold will disable automatic and the plane is descending automatic to the runway....

@fuck10ful i dont think atc give you it , my dads a pilot and he says a glideslope is 3 degrees , so the rule is for every mile out you want to be 300 feet , so 1 mile 300 feet, 5 mile 1500 feet,10 mile 3000 feet , it should pick it up , if you have the ils frequency in on nav 1 box 2 then flip it over about 15 mile out then select the approach button and it will bring you in , depending on what your decision height is set to, i usually have 100 feet, then auto throttle off and autopilot off

Ok it's working with me but most of the time when my plane intercepts the glideslope it descends into a nose land, why is that? The nose of the plane is pointed down instead of being lined up like a dash or a little higher, what makes my approaches being so much into nose dives? I know the speed plays a role but I'm reducing speed to like 125 KIAS, isn't that slow? And what do you mean by setting the auto brakes and arming the spoiler? My ILS is working but so much nose descending on approach.

Why you said ***FSX does NOT have an autoland feature*** ? I'm using standard product on Milano Malpensa for test before pmdg and with NAV and APPR you can do last turn and descend follow ILS Glidescope in automatic mode, touchdown too.
