I'm a KU fan and I have nothing against Tony Mitchell. I think he is a very good player. But reading these comments, ugh...Mizzou fans do not deserve him. Burn Lawrence? See, I live in KC too, and the "retarded homophobic hick" Mizzou fans are just as prominent here as the Jayhawk ones are. Looking at this coming season realistically, seeing Mitchell and Pressey come in for Mizzou while all Kansas could muster was Woolridge and Roberts, it looks scary for KU. Sure, Little will be back strong, but I still see them struggling mightily this year.

@thordell4 We're not scared. With or without Mitchell (and it's looking more like "without" everyday), we have more than enough talent on our roster to beat Mizzou, and win the Big 12.  I think our biggest competition will be K-State and Baylor. Assuming Mitchell does get cleared, and he stays another year after this one, you guys will be a force. But I'm not worried about it this year.

The starting 5 of the Morris twins, Mario Little, Tyshawn Taylor, and Brady Morningstar is sure to win you a few games this season, but I just don't see much depth on your bench. Mizzou on the other hand, will also have an outstanding starting 5 with Phil Pressey, Marcus Denmon, Laurence Bowers, Justin Safford, and Steve Moore (then becoming Tony Mitchell in January), but we'll have a deep bench to go with our five.

@thordell4 Brady won't start. Our starting five will either be Selby, Taylor, Little, Morris, Morris...or Selby, Taylor, Morris, Morris, Withey. Elijah Johnson, Travis Releford, Brady Morningstar, Tyrel Reed, and Royce Woolridge give us depth in the backcourt, while our front court is made up of the Morris twins, Thomas Robinson, and Jeff Withey. That's a deep team. Anyway, we'll see which is better in a few months.
