horrible las vegadized lounge rendition of a truly great HJones song....this sounds like happy hour @ the Holiday Inn Council Bluffs Iowa...or bumfcked Egypt....what a damn shame
@Alexabix Weird indeed without the glam hair, but I think Howard Jones has aged like a fine wine. Still looking (and sounding) just as good as ever. :)
Ernie Leblanc: Is that Greg Lake using a pick on a Fender P-bass? If it is, ask him what time it is and if he'd like to be fired at or after 3:10. Smile Howie!

Most embarrasing moment ive ever seen onstage was at the Ft. Lauderdale show of this tour.
When Howard went out front to do the "whoa-whoas" he tripped over a stage monitor and busted his arse. The whole band could hardly keep a straight face!
Yanno ima big fan of all his stuff but seeing this video kinda depressed me because he drug it on sooooo long all the way to a drumroll and slowmotion singing..I was like ok HJ just let it go already !! I bet thats what Ringo was thinking too .. I thought i seen him looking at his watch ..look at 5:54 -5:58...... lol
"Ringo" fans.... I hope U will check out the video for my song " RINGO ". It's a very retro video with Beatleish touches. It was done as a labor of love and with the utmost respect for the Fabs. The song and video is my attempt at putting a little bit of the Beatle spirit out there for Beatle fans. It's also my tribute to George Harrison's slide playing as well as Ringo's unique style.
@friskycake Ha, ha. I just had to rewatch "Young Again" with Keanu Reeves in order to figure out what this song was. That was one of my fav movies as a kid and I loved this song in it.
No Hairstay, this was Ringo Starr's All Starr Band Tour, with Greg Lake in the Band. Ringo Tours every 2-3 years with a different band of famous musicians who get to do their own songs during the show like Peter Frampton, Billy Squire, Colin Hay from men @ Work, the late Billy Preston, Burton Cummings, Richard Marx, Joe Walsh and the guys from this Band-Rodger Hodgson (Suupertramp), Greg, Sheila E, Ian Hunter.
Look at Sheila E. on drums!"Where you from?Oakland!"The LP bassline on this song gets me wet! Loosen up that E string and vibrate like a 4-D cell toy,Ya'll!
0:05- 0:14. Love that part, brings back vivid memories of the late 80s when I was real small. :) Howard should come out with a CD with 10 or 12 different versions of this song for a 25th anniversary edition.
Besides Ringo, there's also a female drummer next to him--Is that Sheila E. or some other great female percussionist? If anybody knows, let me know ok?
I saw him in Sellersville, PA earlier this month (Jul, '08) and also in Camden, NJ in January. He is quite the showman and entertainer, from acoustic to the electric numbers. The kid I have been shuttling to camp has been insisting I play all Hojo during the ride so I got Jones on the brain. So he's still out there playing, try and catch a show if he's in your town. You will not be disappointed.
brilliant video

This is surreal. Ringo Starr, Sheila E, and Roger Hodgson from Supertramp all on the same stage? The people attending this show lucked out that day.
