@71Camaro98 Hey that little whining noise that your car is making when you rev it up is the steering pump right? Mine makes that same noise, and I'm getting scared, cuz I just bought a camaro and I already had to replace the fuel pump which was 500$ +Brakes+tires totaling at $1500. Then I heard my car start making that noise and I got scared. Its a '94 Z28, 6 speed.

Yeah i am aware. I already have it dropped about an inch with my Bilsteins but I am doing Vband clamps at the headers to limit the amount under there. I may have a custom skid plate made depending on how bad it is. But I need cash for O2s and motor and tranny mounts b4 I install the headers so it will be a bit.

it doesn't take a "special" socket, but a flexible attachment on an extension really helps for the rear 4 or 6 plugs.

ya you have to use a special wrench but all spark plugs require this...the rear plugs are a bitch to get to, i have tune up every year so i dont really mess with it

i dont know what spark plugs you've been changing but my LS1 takes a basic spark plug socket.

not at all...time taking, yes. The Ls1 is by far the best motor, totally revolutionized the v8 world, dodge and ford both have taken pages out of the LS1's book. if your looking to get a muscle car go with the LS1, a trans am or camaro. with basic bolt-ons you can expect to produce 350-360 horsepower. then when you start getting into the internal stuff with just a basic head and cam package you can see 450-460 horsepower with a good tune.

i think everyone likeing your hood is young. a true F-BODY owner would NEVER put riced out hood on. the hoods gay the ls1 is not. get my point. build the motor dont gay up your car. see ya around

I was waiting for the first post like this.. You dont need to tell me that my Z28 is riced out. Its not. Have you ever seen a C5R?? This hood is very similar and COMPLETELY FUNCTIONAL. I own two Camaro's and the 1998 is still in progress. A TRUE F BODY owner wouldnt start bashing unless it is BLATANTLY obvious that a car is riced out. Now if I had lambo doors, 22" spinners, altezza taillights and a HUGE ASS TACH I wouldnt be arguing. Get my point...

This is the same setup I have on my 02 z28. I get compliments all the time on it and yours sounds good. I have never seen that hood before, where did you get it from?

Thanks. I think it sounds pretty good as well but I will be going to a TD setup pretty soon. As far as the hood goes it is a TruFiber but they dont make it anymore. I have still never seen it anywhere else, and I bought it for that one reason... It is hard to make the F-bodies REALLY unique. Hopefully when my Z28 is done it will be one of them. When I get everything else on and painted I will let you know.
