and im pretty sure there playin over a recording of the sitar sound and its just on a loop. after phil held it up to the mic for a minute he put it down an was playin bass so it had to have been a loop machine thing. you can see him holding it up again right around 6:20

its not a sitar. it was some wierd box thing phil was holdin up to the mic. i caught a few shows on this tour, this being one of them. and also the 4/29 show with branford marsalis at the meadowlands arena
