iam with michael the grim reapers hold together alot better than rage, but hey yours got the job done and thats all that matters at the end of the day, use what you like and what works, and as far as for bear archery love it growing up my first bow was a bear youth model now my niece shoots it, but just out of curiousity what draw weight is your bow set at?
@trentsnpr wow! iam supprised you didnt get full penetration with the arrow then @70lbs but no matter it put that beautifull buck down, also not quite sure what arrows you use but the carbon express have worked well for us anyway.
you are right. I've shot two deer with the rage 3 blade broadhead. I found the deer. It killed them. but no blood trails. I was fortunate enough to see where the deer went. I'm dissappointed with the blood trails from them. If you hunt in thick cover and rely on blood trails, I'm not happy with the rage 3 blade expandable broadhead.
I've never had one problem with Rage. I had a clean pass through last year on a 200 pound 8 pointer. Huge entrance and exit holes. I do have to say I like the 2 blade better than the 3 blade though.
I wouldn't call that a cull buck. That is a definite shooter. And your videos need a little work. Be confident when you are speaking it sounds to me like you are a little timid and are not sure what you are going to say next. Also, do not keep using the same words over and over like when you kept saying 'spitting out blood'. And when you actually have that first reaction when you find the deer, that is what you need to act back out on film. Finally, show a little excitement, that is a great buck!
nice buck man, like the rack,,i was reading these comments and rage bradheads are junk and they are 40 bucks here in PA,last year i used muzzy 3 blade 100 grain, shot a 6 point in the heart, blew the heart to pieces,it ran about 60 yards and droped but there was not a single blood drop but my arrow was covered. This year im going to try the same ones you used.
Nice buck. That would be a shooter in my book. I gotta get to Illinois myself! I live and hunt Iowa but Illinois is just as great. I am also attempting to record some of my hunts. It's very challenging and a lot of fun. Great work man.
Nicolatwo...if you don't like the killing of animals, why even post on this.
Trent, you may call that a cull buck...but in my book, he looks like a mature buck...making him a shooter in anyones book who manages deer herds. what did that deer score?
The Truth 2...Is by far the BEST bow I've owned...Smooth,Fast,Quiet,Accurate!I shoot 72lbs. I only got a foot of penetration because the mechanical broadheads have a tendency to get stopped by the ribs on the opposite side of the entrance hole...If you look there was a exit hole, where the tip DID poke threw.
Thank you for subscribing and the friend invite. You seem nice and I would like to accept the friend invite if I did not know that you are a hunter. Since you hunt and kill animals I can not accept your friend invite. I am strongly opposed to hunting and killing animals.
1st and foremost HARVEST is the term... NOT kill!...Obviously YOU are another UNEDUCATED individual! Lets objectively debate the hunting issue right NOW! Let me start by asking...What do YOU think would happen to the OVER POPULATED animals that were NOT properly harvested?...Either they would die SLOWLY of dieses and starvation OR the state would come in set up lighted baiting stations and have there SHARPSHOOTERS kill them at night, like they do already.
For trentsnpr: If you had just read my profile before subscribing and sending friend invite, you could have ignored me instead and saved yourself time. But I am always willing to discuss things. That's why I'm on YouTube.
Animals are not plants to "harvest". I never use this terminology anyway. Calling me uneducated is complete double standard. Do spell check before calling someone else uneducated. Animals have sustained their populations for millions of years.
For trentsnpr part 2: How come that all of the sudden they have to be controlled? They don't is the answer. If humans did not shoot predatory animals like wolves we would not have an overpopulation of prey animals. Hunters shoot the strongest of the herds because they want trophies, leaving the herd vulnerable and suffering. It weakens the herd and causes the sick ones and the ones with genetic malfunctions to survive and pass on their weak genes. Wolves do the opposite helping the herd.
For trentsnpr part 3: Sarah Palin has the wolves killed so there will be more prey animals for hunters to kill. What she is doing is going against the balance of nature and is causing the ecosystem to suffer. The balance of nature needs to be restored and left alone in order to fix what humans have damaged. The last wild Grizzly bear in California was shot in the 1950s. The Grizzly bear is on the California flag but yet there is none left in California because hunters have killed them all.
For trentsnpr: Very true. People believe in the Christian god and in Jesus and all kinds of things that justify their wrongful behavior to them. But the objective truth is still out there no matter how much people twist things in their minds.

Q: What's the difference between BEER NUTS and DEER NUTS?
A: Beer nuts are a dollar fifty and deer nuts are under a buck.
So what are you supposed to do with a dead buck after you kill it? I never heard of buck burgers.
