We could be playing as a couple of poorly trained moronic SWAT-wannabes trapped in a Bond villain mansion, facing off against enemies that easily die from headshots that our characters can't ever seem to pull off. Or we could be playing as a retarded rookie cop messing around in a police station that is eerily similar to a Bond villain mansion.

All while being forced to put up with terrible camera angles and inventory systems.

You can choose whether to kill them or let them live (like the traditional storyline is set as)... Its not about chasing one guy down..

I think that many (including me) would love the option to play alone or at least just with one AI partner. I got sick of having someone or a group of partners by me side all the time. Zombies should feast on the flesh of their victims instead of jumping around beating you up like monkeys and they also need to look more horrific and dismembered as well as more varied models. Player death scenes like in RE4/RE2 is a must. For example: when you run out of life zombies will brutally eat you.

Oh dear christ what have they done? I'm sure the game will be fun to play and all... but this is as far as one can get from being a Resident Evil game. My main beef with it is that the Umbrella Operatives are far too futuristic and ridiculas looking (leather mini skirt? Jesus christ) and are too unbelievable. The ability to turn invisible is also just damn right stupid. They don't act very professional either for a group from such a disciplined company.

I don't know what to expect from this game at all after watching this pre-rendered cutscene (other than there will be zombies). Are you playing as Umbrella, or what? Why didn't the sniper take out the guy after he fell? Why chase after him with a machete when you clearly have lots of gun?

If I had to guess, the game will feature team-based combat, guns, laser mines, and melee combat. Also flashlights. And following guys that leave blood trails. And recovering zombie "samples" as missions.
