The most common problem when you have a fairly new version of mame, is that any roms you end up getting have to be compatible with that version - every version of mame tends to make some games quit working, even when the actual roms didn't change.

I'll try and make a video sometime but it may be a while since I'm in school (college) right now and the Egret II is back at my house. It's pretty cool though, I have the whole PC mounted to a board that slides right in where and arcade PCB would go :)

hey luke...it would be awesome to go through the very basics of mame as I'm trying to get into it myeslf, but it's rather complicated - seems like whenever i download a game it will say the load failed or CHS or whatever its' called. Awesome job though !

I had the same problem,couldnt get any games to load so i bought some mame discs from ebay which contains the roms and the mame application and it worked fine.
