I recently turned 19 and almost everyone I know around my age is into, or at least likes RHCP, today's pop music may not appeal to you, but pop music has always been made to be played on the radio and on TV. And I have to break it to you, RHCP might be considered pop in some people's definitions. Either way, they're also not classic yet! They're still going strong, I think this early-John era was the best, but they have a lot left to do before they become vintage! :)
