@grazie0316 Thanks Grace! Scrapbooking is such a huge industry here in the States that there is alot of the stuff to be had. I hope that someday soon you will have access to much more. Thanks for commenting! I really appreciate it. Enjoy and Have a wonderfully crafty day!
hello... i wanted to find some sheet protectors that would fit 12x12 cardstock... where can you get those??? do u livve in california???? is there any sheet protectors that would fit 12x12??
@hannahmileyrocks14 Any store that sells 12 x 12 scrapbooks will have the sheet protectors too, or you can find lots and lots of scrapbooking companies online that sell them too.
LOL I think all crafters are "Horders" to some degree don't you??
LOL I''d love to help you make kits out of alot of that stuff. I think the other girl had good idea...gift them to people. You could also do a few swaps & get some new things you may use more?
@KraftyKatsy Yes, it's been fun thinking of ways to "use it up" but unfortunately, you're right, I feel when it comes to crafting, I am definately a hoarder. I have to stop that! Have you seen that TV show called "Hoarders", it's very scary to me, because I can totally relate! Yikes!
@imjyfl Yes, I just saw that new show for the first time when I was at my sister's house this past weekend!! I could not believe the one girl tho OMG was all I kept saying LOL. You could not even walk inside her house without literally walking on top of things. YIKES!!! It wasn't just crafts either LOL Dangit LOL
You should give away a good deal of what you have and don't pressure yourself to actually use it up. Trying to use it yourself might add an element of pressure that takes some of your joy out of crafting. I suggest putting together several amazing and overflowing scrapbooking kits, and gifting them to people you think would enjoy them. Also, trying to quit buying cold turkey probably won't work. So, put yourself on a reasonable budget and stick to it.
How funny that I found this video today after spending the entire day cleaning my craft area! I told myself today that I am going to USE up my stuff. You were inspiring.
i can so relate to this, i am doing the same with my xmas papers and embellishments i have way too many so i banned myself from buying more and i am glad i did i made over 300 cards and donated half the money to chariety and i have some money left over to treat myself i.e buy more scrapbooking supplies but i have the space now to fill with new goodies. i am sure you will get to your goal your going great keep up the great work i love your videos and inspiration,
wow, you have a lot of stuff. very pretty items too. I would suggest to also use the mini albums to make a dent in your paper stash. You can also invite your friends to come over and have a mini album party and the winner gets a free scrapbook kit that you put together and that way you are using it and having fun. But you also could always donate to hospitals, day cares and schools they would love them. Good Luck on making your products work for you.
To use up your mini albums, I would suggest you theme them ie: Special Birthdays, weddings or xmas. That will put a good dent in them.
To use your paper and cardstock I would suggest you go through all your papers and donate the ones you are not keen on to an old age home, that will leave you with less but perhaps you will be able to start on some great LO's with papers you love rather then like and to use your mediums grab one item out of your drawer, you tube it see what you find.
