  • There are many fish in the aquarium trade that are suitable for or need brackish water. Bumblebee gobies, Dragon/Violet gobies, scats, mono sabae, most puffer fish, Knight/Fan Dancer/Dancing gobies, etc. Again, Google brackish water tanks and fishes and you will find lots of information.

  • is brackish water just saltwater without machines or do u need specific machines in order to keep the water brackish? or wud it be safe to have a stong filter and strong oxygen flow and then just add a bit of salt?

  • It isn't a matter of "machines" at all. Brackish water is water that has MARINE salt added, but at a specific gravity lower than that of full strength sea water. Aquarium salt is useless and does not create brackish water. Marine salt such as Oceanic or Coralife is needed. You cannot just add a bit and hope that it works right, you have to measure your specific gravity with a hydrometer or refractometer. Google "Setting up a brackish tank" and you will find lots of information.
