We DID arm Saddam, and Al Qaeda (we armed Saddam to fight Iran, and Al Qaeda to fight the Soviets), and unfortunately, it's something haunting us today in the form of what the CIA knows as "blowback". 1000 people died in New Orleans because the local government was so inept they didn't even use money that was earmarked to fix levies to fix them, but built a nice golf course instead.I think this is a hateful vid about poor Bush who has had to deal w/ nightmares you can only dream of. There WERE attacks on U.S. soil. They just weren't carried out by people. They were carried out by mother nature.
Hurricane Katrina hit a MAJOR U.S. city, and nothing was done about it until about a week later. No humanitarian aid was given for five days, and after the Superdome was filled, everyone had to save themselves.
It's safe to say that thanks to Bush, we still would be unable to handle another 9/11.

First of all, it was 9/11/2001. Secondly, we were attacked by a small group of (mostly-Saudi) terrorists who had no ties whatsoever to Iraq. They were in Afganistan, a war that we've completely neglected. By the way, Iraq was a war planned by Dick Cheney, Don Rumsfeld, et al back in the late 1990s (read the Project For A New American Century document that they wrote). And, finally, that 22% you're in is down to 19%. Hang it there...maybe you'll be the last one left soon.

Oh yeah, I know. Larry Silverstein. He had his insurance policy changed about 6 months before the 9/11 incident. Also there were more than a billion dollars in the basement of these buildings, a fact that no mainstream media has chosen to cover.
Also, building 7 weren't hit by another building. It "fell" by its own. There were a few windows with fire in them, not even a remote chance at the main structure failing.

Here's my reasons:
1) They chase about for Bin Laden. Then suddenly Bush says "I'm not too concerned about him." Why? Because he was a scapegoat. He's not even on the FBI wanted list. :)
2) A lot of the "terrorists" they released pictures of are alive still. That's hard if you are driving a plane into buildings.
One of them even asked an american embassy why he was on their terrorist list.. :p

Actually, one point I haven't seen yet is, under the Bush administration we have not had a single terrorist attack on US soil post 9/11. The Brooklyn Bridge attack that was foiled was particularly huge. No one talks about it anymore. The 500+ WMDs we HAVE found in Iraq (per declassified report) gets forgotten altogether. He's a good man in general and he's not a bad president.

Dude, a simple google search on "Iraq WMDs" pulls up the link (which youtube won't let me post here, but I'm happy to send in a private message). Also, you'll see a TON of links to stories about how there are no WMDs... all of which were written significantly BEFORE the report was released. What, no evidence that it's wrong to talk about? We found approx. 500 WMDs there.

We DID arm Saddam, and Al Qaeda (we armed Saddam to fight Iran, and Al Qaeda to fight the Soviets), and unfortunately, it's something haunting us today in the form of what the CIA knows as "blowback". Go do some more informed research on the subject, I can assure you that it is anything but a fallacy.

Oh, I know we gave them weapons. What I was suggesting (and I will be doing more research on this one) was that the WMDs that Saddam used on his own people and the Kurds weren't from us. Also, if I remember correctly, we pleaded with him NOT to do it (as opposed to the insinuation Trak made that we put him up to it).

Recession isn't the worst thing that could happen, and anyway the Fed constantly juggling the money supply has MUCH more to do with avoiding a recession than does Bush lining the pockets of his "core" supporters the RICH, who under Bush are the only segment of the US in this economy that is prospering.
