In the rest of the game the cutscenes are fewer and far between, but epically long.

The cutscenes in MGS4, like every other MGS game, are animated and rendered in real-time, using the game engine. No pre-rendered cutscenes are used in the entire series, which just makes the MGS series SO much better!

It's amazing what u can do w/the PS3...I can see how MGS4 was the 1st PS3 game to use all of an ENTIRE DUAL-LAYER BLU-RAY DISC. That's a 50GB game! DAMN!

Actually, Otacon gives you a pretty detailed explanation through codec as to why did the weapon jammed. It had something to do with the fact that the militia used cheap ammunition and the cases tended to melt within the chamber causing the weapon to jam. He also says it's a very uncommon failure.
