interestingly enough, even though his judo is amazing, i've heard from japanese sensei's that he's a real asshole to everyone below him. it's a shame because judokas are supposed to be good people.

that sensei is wrong. muneta is the most polite judoka there is. he helps people up after they been in osaekomi, and he always does a 90degree bow, unlike some judoka who dont.

Inoue looks like a very nice guy, Muneta however was like an ass here. Look how arrogant he was. But still he's one of my favourite judokas.

Muneta is one of my favorite judokas! He doesn't look like the typical World Champ with 6 pack abs etc. But damn he's so technical and fast! I envy him! Really really good judoka!

It was Sasae Tsurikomi Ashi. Yes, his foot is closer to the knee, but the movement is totally different from a Hiza Guruma. Stunning throw either way though!

Agreed! Well, I'm a wrestler who began with Sambo. To us, the throws are all very similar. The only difference is that in Judo, the Japanese have really made highly subtle differences between throws.
