It seems that while we were concerned with a few seal hunters a much bigger problem went unnoticed. Global warming has all but destroyed the seals breeding groung and this year there is no ice for the seals to breed on. The seals are going onshore to have their pups but THEY CAN'T SWIM YET AND there is not much room and many are being drowmed as they are forced in the water by bigger stronger pups. So it's time to bring pressure on ALL governments TOCUT CARBON EMISSIONS BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.

In 60+ years a lot happened in the way of Education. This generation says No, they don't want to kill baby Seals - so this generation put a ban on all Canadian Seafood until it stops.
A few seals are killed to protect fish, others as a source of blubber or food. Most are indeed killed for their fur. That may not be to everyones taste, but it is hardly unEuropean. Europes fur farms produce over 30m mink and fox pelts a year. Every four or five days Europe kills more animals for their fur than the entire annual Canadian hunt does in a year. Seal hunting sounds unfair; but Europeans are reluctant to ban the hunting of similarly defenceless game birds, deer or wild boar.

I really want to get Obama to stop this, god damn. I did a report on these animals and they're beautiful and different. They have a right to live, not get killed for a day so people can be rich.
