Great Ocean Road is amazing although it adds a few extra hours to the trip. The whole Victorian side of the drive is stunning, actually. The SA side is a bit bare but not bad if you continue along the coast.
Mt Gambier's a nice town too - good place to break up the journey. The Festiva was great fuel-wise. Just needed one fill up the whole way: $60-70 worth of petrol.

Nice video. I am thinking of moving from Melb - Ade and driving there via Mt. Gambier/Great Ocean Road. Seems like something to remember.

Very typical of Mt.Gambier to be raining, actually the constant bad weather explains the high suicide rate in this town.
