i just saw an interesting video on hulu about the bridges of new york and this one was the most interesting followed by george washington and verazanno narrows....very interesting...

by the way: family left manhattan isle as brooklyn city started to develop from potatoe fields but before a great granny past....here story was....she was just past 17yrsold when the bridge was opened and she walked across (bit frightened-as they had never built anything that awesome before...and thought with horses and carriages and walkers...might fall) the second day it was opened....peace, bro.
