i think they just killed mabinogi...female chars will look like whores...males look will look boring and typical...it just wont have the mabinogi charm. @nekoangelgirl123 ... Are you for real? Half the outfits for females in the original make you look like a whore anyway! Take Valencia's Short Swordsmanship Uniform, for example, or the Idol Ribbon Dress, or, god forbid, the Succubus Outfit. The clothing being short doesn't make you a whore, and most of the short ones are expensive/rare and actually quite valuable.

As a side note, you DO realise that the clothings from 0:16 to 0:22 don't look "whorish" in any way, right?

@malakaki111 yes i am serious. In mabinogi they gave you the CHOICE to wear those clothing. It was not forced upon you to wear them. I have played the game and I have seen many different outfits. They were from long dresses to short to pants to shorts and even full on armor (real armor). This video does not show how they will dress. They could change it in a heart beat which is why I said I will wait for more vids before I become certain about how I feel towards it.

@supervamp78 What I'm saying is, the clothing choices shown here aren't much different than those in Mabi. The characters just look more realistic. If these clothes are whorish, so are many of the ones in Mabinogi.

@Socksytime well That's not entirely true because Vindictus was the prequel to Mabinogi's storyline which explains how Mabi came to be. This Mabinogi II is most likely the sequel to Mabinogi's story. They all basically follow the same storyline so it's not entirely different :3 Nyan~~~~

Finally! They're actually giving mabinogi some new graphics. This will finally help attract more players and make them stay longer. It had a ton of players at first, but many quit after 2-3 years. The 2D engine was ok, but it really is time to move on to 3D after all these years or there wouldn't be much point in a mabinogi 2. Hopefully they will have better maintenance too. Mabinogi's known for horrible, long maintenance. What's great about Mabinogi isn't the graphics though, it's the gameplay.

Er.. actually.. Theres alot of confusion going on about Morrighan killing everyone. The clip where it shows your character and other millitians all dying is a PROPHACY by Shakespear. Also Mabi 2 is just a rumor.. #1. "Mabinogi II" the name is just too cheesy. What online game has "II" next to it..? and #2. I seriously can't see any solid evidence that DevCat developers in KR are actually developing it. And yeah...

I don't see this being a disadvantage for others who spent 1000's on the original mabinogi or who played it for two years. I myself played mabinogi close for 2-3 years and never payed once for it yet one day my account was shut due to a proxy shield I had on from another survey site and apparently the email I signed up with was terminated. If you ask me it's just a fair way to allow those who can't play mabinogi 1 or are new to the game to be on fair footing instead of 2000 levels behind.

@PirateWong I'm pretty sure this game, starting out, won't be bad on the whole "Pay" thing. Then again, it might take a few years to reach US, in which case... shite.

Let's hope it has just as much content as current Mabinogi has, but less of the headaches, insane time commitment for making marginal improvements, and paying for items that should have been obtainable in the game. Also don't wait 7 game updates to include all the classes (But that'll happen.)

@Daxter609 realistically the game wouldn't be able to handle the Vindictus system. There's too much character-character and character-environment interaction to make a full world mmorpg out of it. It's something every Game Maker dreams of doing and MOST have tried but in all reality it's just too much stress on the computers and servers. Today's technology isn't quite ready for it yet. But we are aproaching readiness fast. I see us being there in 5 - 10 years.

@CrownChanel It was made by the same company. Vindictus already has a combat system, so there's no reason why they couldn't do it again. But I honestly hate (I just try my hardest to tolerate it while playing) Vindictus combat system, and it would be better if they tried to enhance the combat system of Mabinogi itself. make it a bit less click>click>click to make it more realtime. I hope we get all of the clothes that were in Mabinogi, because mabinogi has better clothes than Vindictus everwill.

@esosa233 This game has been in development for years, it is going to continue the storyline nearly 100 years after Mabinogi, meaning most of the NPCs we know would be dead from old age. It is impossible to end the Mabinogi storyline with 1 game.
