  • A honorable white man, who always honoured and respected the african-american contribution to the only culture that Amercia has.

  • Nice. Thanks.

  • If I had enough money, I would hire Keef to lull me to sleep. Seriously, imagine going to sleep to this. Best night of sleep you'd ever have.

  • @Dethenger

HAhaha...I like Keith but...with that raspy, rattle snake voice? Hahahah.....probably not. But would be fun to drink with. All those stories.......

  • YEAH!!!100*

  • be cool to here his full version of this

  • Comment removed

  • Keef......... fucking genius... why didnt you get rid of mick!

  • @TheEmilylander uhhh maybe because, without Mick, most Stones songs wouldn't even exist - they wrote the best when they wrote together.

  • @TheEmilylander

Mick wrote many of the words to their songs

  • swagger!

  • no shit keith.

  • would be awesome an acoustic album

  • tabs please!

  • "Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants, it is the creed of slaves." - William Pitt

  • 'Pointed the way to a new direction in blah blah blah. BBC4 documentaries dont they suck the life outta yah.

  • yeah the best the rolling stones

  • To still just grab a guitar and blue's out Satisfaction gives insight as to how well KR knows his 'stuff'. A blues album of Stones classics by Keith would be an instant classic. Think about it Keith ! (as if he'd ever find or read this) (and if his arthritis hasn't progressed passed the point of pulling it off- bummer disease)

  • I love how the like/dislike bar on a Keith Richards video looks like a lit joint.

  • @Thebluesrockmusic mere coincidence...I think not :)

  • @Thebluesrockmusic "God Rolls His Own"▬▬▬▬~☼ Hope it'll never burn up.

  • It would great if Richards recorded a blues acoustic album, he is great just read his Life too. However, not even Richards can match the blues by the blacks in the 30s and 40s.

  • cool blues

  • HEY HELP ME. What guitar is he plays? I WANT THIS GUITAR

  • @InanancuxI why? :D

  • @CabbatheHot

it has great sound and little body. like little guitars like gibson l0,l1

by the way it's collings baby. and it costs 3000euro in germany. I dont have that money. but i will steal and kill, because i really want it. or maby i'l take martin o18. i dont know now)

  • aint you had this song up the ass

  • As a singer...Keith's a good guitar player

  • Keith is a natural acoustic player. Acoustic guitars, unlike the electric, suit his playing style, which is raw and earthy. Great sound.

  • Classy!

This is epic! I agree with hek7, he should do an acoustic blues album =)

  • i remember seeing this video in music class in school and it was the first time i had ever heard him play. he's the reason i play guitar now. i've been looking everywhere for this. thank you for posting it.

  • what is this video from?

  • Just finished reading life by mr. Richards and I must say he truly is the living embodiment of everything that rock & roll stands for. Amazing player, legendary man. Thanks for swinging music in the right direction Keef!!

  • I just learned to play this on my acoustic!! thanks Keef!!

    -Delia, BIG FAN

  • What a voice! I'm against drugs, but without all those shits Keef couldn't have an awesome rough voice like this.

  • Keith's book "Life" is a great read. If you're old like me, get the 853 page large print version. SENSATIONAL. Makes you appreciate just how hard this guy works at keeping the ROLLING STONES band together. He's a whole smarter than you think. Yes, he's a junkie, smack and bump are his choice. Amazing life !!

  • hahahahahah Amazing!

  • Hi! This is Hangover Dose !

Subcribe to the channel if you like our videos, Haha !

You can also listen to our compositions on the myspace page (Link on the Video)

    Hehe

  • why wont he make a blues album!!

  • @TheChrishendrix I agree! I would love an album of just Keith with acoustic guitar singing and playing whatever songs he pleased...

  • @maxLeifermann i know bro like cocaine blues and 32 20 blues. both awesome songs both keef and guitar

  • Mr Richards, please record an acoustic version of Satisfaction, with yourself singing. It sounds awesome.

  • dudes incredible

  • Keith Richards, please, please, by the mercy of God, come up with an acoustic blues album!

  • @hek7 best thing ive read in a long long time!

  • Great song!

  • Woowwwwwwwwwwwww keith like in "life" by him.

  • Keeeeef is cooooooool!

  • Keith Richards is the only man in the world who can go: "Anthrax? *snort*...Awwwwwlright!"

  • Everyone says he is ugly. I think he has the face of a wise old sage. Something like an indian shaman that has seen everything. His eyes shine like he knows a really cool secret! What a great musician.

  • @mindstormsabrewin dude that is helllllla true man... i have his book "LIFE" he has done everything maan

  • @mindstormsabrewin Not always. 30 years ago he was not that bad looking but--too much partying has a way of degrading one's DNA and cellular structure. As a musician, however, he is simply the best.

  • Keith Richards is the man!!!

  • I remember the first time I heard "Satisfaction". I said to my friend, "man that's a cool sounding Sax" LOL. I was totally clueless about electric guitars and it took a while for my friend to convince me what was actually going on :)

  • orgasmic Keeff

  • man, he can't play for shit

  • @madFlam1 you just finding that out? that's been no secret since 1962!

  • @jsilence418 i've thought they were overrated since i was a kid. but people still think he's an amazing 'rhythm guitarist'

  • @madFlam1 It's amazing how despite being one of musics biggest John Lennon's playing has been underappreciated. listen to his rhythm parts on' All my lovin' or his solo on' You can't do that ' fucking brilliant !!better than keef in my opinion and that's just his guitar playing I like some stones but.... well you know.

  • @jsilence418 Lennon's an asshole just like Dylan.If I want poetry I'll read a book.Keith dominates blues

  • @70goldtop wow what a stunning counter arguement, I am surprised you can spell poetry! you don't have a clue about the blues, as Black musicians used to say about the stones, plastic soul man plastic soul you are a typical stones fan I rest my case!

  • @jsilence418 Why did you capitaize "black"?

  • @70goldtop Yeah nice 4 hour pause while you ran around trying to come up with a reply, lol and look what it is ! what do you expect from a loser that considers the stones blues! great music selection by the way how is the abba box set ?

  • @jsilence418 Does the Rolloing Stones music scare you?I bet it does because you're a little pussy. You want to be butt buddies with Jimmy Page but you don't like Keith Richards.Typical Led Zep bandwagon jumping fruitcake who can't think for himself.

  • @jsilence418 I'll let you have the last word because you're infant minded.Like I said before,go practice your arpeggios and diminished scales wannabe bluesman

  • @jsilence418 .....and go practice your "diminished" scales you faggot poser.Blues expert LOL!!!!!!!

  • @70goldtop another idiot to be taught, you know fuck all of the blues ! the stones had no credibility as blues artists, none! that's why they got Mick Taylor! they had no good instrumentalists so he upped their value with his virtuosity and knowledge of real blues! even he thought they were awful when he joined! you don't know fuck all just another insecure big mouth on youtube! 70 gold top lol boy what wonderful music you would make just like a fire in a pet store!

  • @jsilence418 P.C. poser

  • @madFlam1 dude how can you say that!!!

thumbs up if you think keef can play!

  • KEEF B. RICHARDS.

    "WELCOME GOOD GUYS,

    THE ROLLING STONES":

    KEEF B. GOODE

  • Everybody snort your father's ashes.

  • Oh KEEF, ( sigh.. ) !!!!!

  • Now, if that isn't the sweetest, sexiest Keef I've ever seen (and heard). He's so damn gorgeous. One Love Keef!

  • Now, if that isn't the sweetest, sexiest Keef I've ever seen (and heard). He's so damn gorgeous. One Love Keef!

  • Keiths face always lights up when he talks and sings the blues...He bleeds the blues.....

  • i just love this man. Despite his self-inflicted, uh, injuries, Keith's humor and humanity shines through. And to think he's been willing to play second fiddle (or guitar--nothing second about that) to that strutting rooster all these decades.

  • well...he has the most beautiful smile i've ever seen!!!you can see that he adores music!!!!

  • Coolest man on the planet. Read his biography, "Life," and you'll learn more about musical history and have more fun that you would ever anticipate!

  • Keith Richards is the accumulated sponge of blues, soul, rock, all rolled into a ball and spread like butter on a piece of toast called the Rolling Stones.

  • I wanna get that good at guitar! !!

  • Keith!!! You're the Man!!!

  • cool cool cool cool coooooooooolllllll!!!!!!!!!

  • "The sexual swagger of satisfaction"

SHIT! i want that guy following me and talking about my music, i would be rich off his vernacular in minutes~!

  • @Fruscianteistheman hahahaha

  • The King of Cool had to deal with the Queen Bitch of Rock 'n Roll for almost 50 yrs! I ran into Keef in a Caribbean airport, sat at a bar and he actually bought me drinks, and cool doesn't do it justice enough; his picture should be right next to the definition in Webster’s.

  • @kenpacha75

C'mon, he loves Mick. The guy's nearly taken a bullet for Mick, numerous times, on stage.

By that, I mean, gigs in the 1970s, you'd get lunatics rushing the stage going for Jagger, and Keith would step in, and take on the guy, quite a lot of the time, getting hit.

Gig in 1983, in New York, a lunatic rushed the stage, going for Jagger again. Richards spotted him, and wacked him with his guitar!

  • Truth is, the only musician in the 1960s and 1970s who had more lunatic, psychotic, drugged up, hero worshipping fans than John Lennon was Mick Jagger, and the only reason Jagger is still alive, in truth, is probably Keith Richards

Said in an interview about 5 years ago "I've always got micks back on stage, always have had. I'll always take the bullet"

  • this song came to him a a dream. he accidentally left his tape recorder one night and left it on and happened to play/sing a bit of this song in his sleep

  • I don't really like the Stones, but Keith is a cool cat.

  • @whoareyou342 Darn Straight !!! I"m reading his book "Life" at the moment (in audio form) and it's FANTASTIC....

  • @timjohns I'm reading it right now too..love how it started out lol

  • wht is this from !?!?

  • I NEVER would have thought about this tune like that. What a genius.

  • @mcadarette there's nothing genius. It's a blues song that ended up to be a great rock riff. Just like whole lotta love.

  • che mezz

  • Keith is such a great and crazy guy.

  • as usual keef dont look a day over 90,000,000.......good though!

  • @VUPdingCLICK and thats on his good days lol

  • Written in the Admiral Benbow Hotel in Tampa FL.

  • nice

  • KEITH the king*****5+

  • Awesome!!!

    Grandma mary

  • Great! Keith is the ultimate stoner - on another plane entirely than the rest of the world. I love him. And how's your satisfaction rating these days? xoxo

  • does any one have a tab for this? i will forever be in your debt if you send me that lol

  • @XLshred Jesus man this is easy like hell. Use your ear...

  • he makes an un-tuned guitar sounds like it's in tune =)

  • @bustedup or visversa, but hey, that's the real blues.

  • @bustedup nop. it's other way around xD

  • He's exactly right.

  • como toca keith la puta madreeeeeeeeeeee

  • All crazy people are truly geniouses

  • Good to see you keith on this one! I think Satisfaction is your stonziest song and should be your mark in the rock genre of music!

  • that is a mess

  • that sounds like a fuckin mess,if you heard that from a busker in the street you would think he was shit.

  • @spoooff you honestly dont know anything about guitar or music if you think that was shit

  • Special is a little 3 year old brother singing Satisfaction in 1965, knew this song was special back then !

  • Where is this clip from?

  • I want to be like Keith, I mean can you be more cool? NO! Keith is rock 'n roll and rock 'n roll is Keith Richards. Finest guitarist ever!

  • Keith is such a gifted bluesman. he not only understands the theory behind the blues, but he also has the most deeply emotional feel for it. truly a great musician.

  • NOw why in the hell doesn't Keith just do acoustic little jams like this and sing and put it on a solo album instead of hiring a bunch of hanger on musicians to do his solo albums with him. I love his acoustic jams like this.

  • the uglies band in the world:) but who cares...

  • The Stpnes just get better with age, like good wine... Pam & George

  • 7Ages of Rock, may there be many to follow.

  • :) Lo mejor

  • Great video, I'm spreading my music with animation greetings from Argentina

  • Anyone know where this is from? Is there a whole documentary somewhere?

  • @SuperDayv Its from a documentary called the 7 Ages of Rock, which is a special with several parts explaining major events and artists in rock music from the 60s to today. I think you can find all the parts to watch on a site called veoh.

  • Here you can see that he is a genius

  • He's a really good singer isn't he

  • he should make a unplugged solo acoustic album, of some of the bluesy stones songs like this, and his covers of great blues songs, that would be awesome!

  • Satisfaction is more of a cha-cha than a blues.

  • keith i think u have better voice than mick does yes sir buddy

  • What DVD is this from?

  • this is from documentary called The birth of rock; Seven ages of rock ... i believe this is the first movie in the collection of 7 documentaries and its about blues based rock from 1963 to 1970)

  • Cool, thanks.

  • doesnt matter if people think hes a good guitarist or not,hes a rolling stone.

  • hes cool :D

  • hendrix is the master and voodoo god others just imitaters

  • 7 Ages Of Rock

  • KEEF is u´nbelieviable human being

  • @ rickystone. if page is just a bad copy of beck, than how come he went on to form one the biggest rock bands of all time and jeff beck went on to for the jeff beck group? lol, and richards is a great rhythm guitar player

  • Keith is a guitar player. Can't you guys hear the right hand independence between the thumb and the fingers? This creates a complete sound. In essence a bass and guitar together. He wrote some of the greatest most recognizable riffs of all time playing guitars that sounded like guitars. How do you judge greatness?

  • he's good, he has got a special sound

  • Not impressed.

  • fuck you!

  • I'd love to.

  • @MrAlvarosantiagoferr ASSHOLE...!!!!

  • lol KEEF!

  • Comment removed

  • I think its time "Keef" learnt to play.

  • @sail1948 He plays better then you

  • I like Keith's voice better than Mick Jagger's. I find it more soothing.

  • Oh man...a trip back to the 60s! My favorite group! Wish I could play like that!!

..LOL! ..and I'm a bagpiper who struggles with the guitar!
