WCW was PG and they were entertaining from 97 through 99.Just didnt remind you either by the poor acting and writing or by outright telling you every minute its predetermined. 2 believable promos with no BS just seriousness & then a stiff wrestling match between 2 believable pro wrestlers building Goldberg for more of the same but against a more over guy in Sid Vicious on PPV.
Nitro the week of this Thunder got a 3.1 rating & 2 weeks prior they got 4.1 so one can only imagine rating they would have got if they were not on exact same time & day as WWF RAW is WAR. WWE get's 2.8 to 3.0 ratings these days with no competition.
