  • That's the way we rode all our horses as kids. just get on!! Fun to watch

  • Paint/pinto.

  • What kind of horse is that called, the ones with those splotches like that?

  • no bit no ill fitting saddle, no cruelty...and one lowers a horse's head to release endorphins and calm them...do a wee bit of research before attacking...

  • See how he is pulling the horses head down? I do the same with my horses when i do natural horsemanship with them, It relaxes them :) "Where the horses head goes the mind follows" When their head is held high they are looking around for any danger, when they put their head to the ground that aren't alert of anything around them. Try it with your horses it really does help them calm down :) And it IS something you do in horsemanship!

  • hes a fake u can tell cuz native americans never treated any animal like tht including horses talk about animal cruelty u can tell tht the horse is in pain when FORCES its head down as it brings its head back up

  • @lionsexlover

bahahaha, no way the horse isn't in any pain at all. Its a method to calm a horse "where the head goes, the mind follows." Horses with their head held high are alert horses, horses with their head down aren't aware of anything around them.

  • @lionsexlover

And its not "cruel" at all. The horse just doesn't know what he is asking and you can tell the horse is new to it all :)

  • thats yanking the poor horses head arround , then scaring him/her with the hi5 then more yanking ...

  • O.o;; I guess Style isnt always synonymous with Impressive.

  • this horse obviously doesnt know what in the heck is goin on cas I've been ridin for 12 years and this horse just wants to eat and get the heck away from this wanna be

  • @101Hossy

This horse is learning and this man knows exactly what he is doing. I do some of these horsemanship methods with my horses :)

  • I grew up as a white American across the street from a Native American land (reservation). I have grown up knowing the ways of the Natives, being taught to respect my elders, learn sacrifice and humlity, hearing the stories of those in the folktale of the Great Spirit. I know no life better than the ways of the Native Americans. Horse Cave (John Borta), a man on the reservation put me on a horse at 7 months old. I learnt to ride their way, and their way is the right way!

  • I think that horse was being ridden for the first time, also before hand he was blowing into the horses nostrils and the horse was blowing back. He was gaining the horses trust and arousing its curiousty towards him, so the horse would be willing to learn more about the man. Thats what i think. And as you could tell the horse was totally confused on why the man was knealing on the ground and trying to get his attention, which just helped the horse to be more interested and willing to learn more.

  • @ChloeTolsa blowing into the horse nostrils to gain trust i dnt think so how wud u like having som1 blow into ur nostrils thts not how u gain a horses trust thts just how u annoy it

  • @lionsexlover

If you were smart enough you would actually notice ALL horses who greet each other do that :)

  • yeah.....i don't get it either!

  • i dont understand what you are trying to do heare. I myself am a horse trainer aswell was full native, and i dont see any aspects of this "training" to consider it "native style" horse training. The horse is not giving to preseure becase he wants to but becasue he is being forced to. And he is no way comftble in the riding lesson either

  • @alamo1022

Maybe he just means he`s riding bareback so it must be Native American. U.U I`ve been searching videos for the real impressive riding and so far it`s just pictures and people riding without a saddle.

  • @alamo1022

You can never stop learning from horses, he is pulling the horses head down for another reason, it keeps them relaxed and unaware of things around them. "Where the horses head goes, the mind follow" Horses with their head held high are alert horses.
