OK. Stay with me on this ...wine... Bacchus... Dionysus ...ecstasy/abandon/wanton joy/revel, even, depending on source...All associated with the celebration of life in it's many forms.
Wine is a celebration of life, and of the abandon into joy that can be known in life alone. And here you are, describing the nectar of joy like two droll, boring narrators of an old Masterpiece Theatre segment.
