A bit funny :P But we didn't really lose Pluto. It is just so small that if it qualifies as a planet we would suddenly get several hundred new planets in the solar system.
I can just imagine a scientist and a stockbroker bumping into each other on the way to work and exchanging their briefcases. The results?
A) On the NYSE - "Pluto" shares are downgraded to junk
B) The scientific community investigates the American economy, only to discover that it cannot possibly exist for much longer. Its findings shake the already fragile system into a total world financial meltdown,,,
