@dwtime Yeah Ivan's a huge Roxy Music fan but I'm pretty sure the keybordists had nothing to do with Roxy. Isn't Guy Fletcher from Dire Straits? ;) You've got to admire the keyboardists in any case :P
@TheForgottenNote I just noticed Guy played with Dire Straits from wikipedia so you are right. I thought I was right about Roxy, he was a touring keyboardist for the 'Avalon' 1981 tour which I have some recordings from, that was where I remember his name mentioned. Funny that wikipedia doesn't mention MWH.
@TheForgottenNote I googled Guy Fletcher and roxy music and it took me to Guy Fletcher's wikipedia page which says: "Fletcher was born into a musical family; his uncle, also named Guy Fletcher, has written several hits for other artists with composing partner Doug Flett, and joined Roxy Music in 1981 for their 'Avalon' world tour." Also more info on Fletcher's website which is listed on the wikipedia page.
@TheForgottenNote Also on the 'viva roxy music' website they have a tour section that has the musicians that played on the Avalon Tour, Guy Fletcher is on the list and the shown 'typical' setlist included 'Editions Of You'. What can I say I love music and info about bands!
@2010alphaville Totalmente de acuerdo, es una lástima que Le Spectrum haya desaparecido, cuantos recuerdos ahí se esfumaron. A ese lugari fui a ver unos cuantos conciertos....
Everyone in the audience was given a backstage tour pass to wear when they came to the show in exchange for their ticket. It was the Freeways tour pass. Ivan is telling the crowd "welcome backstage - everyone have your pass?"
@mrsoundwave Thanks!

I think Ivan was a big Roxy fan and one of the MWH keyboardists here, Guy Fletcher was a tour musician for Roxy so that helps.

@dwtime Aah thanks, it appears I misunderstood you, I thought you said one of the MWH keyboardists were with Roxy Music, I'm terribly sorry >.<

This was recorded in Montreal, August 8th 1985, at Le Spectrum.
Sadly, the venue is no longer there.

You know. I think this voice could mesh well on a Mushroomhead song with Jeffery Nothing and Jim Waylon.

A very difficult song to perform. Brian Ferry and Ivan are the only ones able to do so.
