24 v on a rolling start from 60 km should take the 12v , even if its in a mk2

Yeah or maybe that the mk2 guy just drives like a tasmanian devil and the other one is average . I've raced a mk2 12v vs a mk4 24v and I was in front with the 24v

possibly, but I doubt it. You can see from the launch that they are very even and his gear changes are good all the way down, I don't think there is a huge difference in the power output between the two, at most 30hp I want to say? But half a ton makes a BIGGGG difference!

I own both and 24v is way better, more responsive and lot stronger....if you have a lightweight mk2 12V vs. mk4 24v than it's obvious.

Assuming that they were both somewhat stock....thats impressive. Just goes to show the downsides of the extra weight.
