I know that most Christians are sincere in their intention, however they still ignorantly perpetuate the same propaganda that they are fed on a mass level, with a very few that appose any of it. It is clear that while youth grow up perfectly normal in countries where youth sexuality is normal; yet completely messed up in the head in places where they are told to be ashamed of such actions and shame others. The only ones who have issues are non-consensual cases or influence of group mentality.

However, it is my belief that denying medical care and birth control services to underage girls who are having sex just makes the problem worse. Under US and most state laws, people in health care and teaching positions are generally *required by law* to report any crime committed that they are exposed to in the course of their profession. Therefore, the moment this worker was told the 13 year old's partner was 31, she was informed that the crime of statutory rape had been committed and was obligated to report that to the authorities.

This is a hard subject. I was an abused child.. reporting it.. only got me rejected any help from CPS& then got the hell beaten out of my MORE by my father. The repercussions of doing the 'right' thing and speaking out, reporting it- were the most DANGEROUS things I faced, believe it or not. When I aborted, it was not out of rape or w/e, but to prevent bad things from getting WORSE, more embarrassing, painful, ect. If someone wants to abort, let them, period. They want privacy? GIVE IT TO THEM.

I was never molested, yet I had consensual sexual relations(not intercourse, didn't figure that out for a wile) I was never shown how (and i was the initiator a lot of the time) to do what I and my partners did, on the contrary, I lived within a strict christian home, where all the television I watched went supervised, the people i spent time with where screened, and so forth. I was caught a few times, scolded, and talk to about it being wrong; that didn't stop me.

What struck me about this video was that the workers were both old Grandma-looking women. It's as if it's their last chance to do something kind of rebellious (illegally not reporting child sex abuse) and they appear to feel all good and heroic about their work, seeing to it that this kid gets the abortion she needs so some creepy old man can keep doing her to his heart's content. Concealing rape is deplorable, but if this was a real child and PP said 'give us details to report this to CPS or else we have to turn you away'. Then what do you think the child would have done? If it was a real child she probably would have walked out those doors, got pregnant and had to have raised the child or give it up for adoption. The fact is that if someone gets raped, has to endure pregnancy without choice, and then possibly raise a child as a child. It can ruin more than 1 life.

It doesn't matter if she wants to protect her boyfriend; for all they knew she was 13 and in Indiana that is considered rape. So it doesn't matter if they thought they were helping her, they were breaking the law and we are a nation based on law.

Abortion isn't something that is taken lightly by those who choose it. It's not like tossing a dirty tissue in the garbage. When a woman chooses to have an abortion the choice is weighed down by many conflicting emotions. Why would the woman counseling the fake patient want to add any more stress to the girl? @tttar Well there are awful people on both sides. Like 'pro-life' protesters who bomb clinics, etc. There are quite a few internet pages on anti-abortion violence. But I realize that not all pro-life supporters are like that, just like not all the women who've chosen to have abortions choose to be 'all in your face' about it. And no, I don't think it's funny. An abortion is an awful thing, but unfortunately for as long as there is ignorance about birth control they will exist :(

The PP and media hypocrisy is amazing. Given the similar nature of the cover-up, one wonders where the NY Times, so quick to go after an organized religion, is in these cases. Of course, this is the same organization founded by one of the pioneers of American eugenics, who argued that the African Americans population should be controlled due to their supposed inferiority. What most people are not aware of , is that PP started as a racist genocide organization! They wanted to work to basically eliminate poor African-African women from having more children. They eventually broke out into other communities, originally thought it was targeted at only low-income, blacks , young mothers. @rexy5 I'm aware that statutory rape is a crime, and that experiencing it may be harmful to young women. Of course, in this case, no ACTUAL statutory rape occurred -- it was just pretend. However, it is my belief that denying medical care and birth control services to underage girls who are having sex just makes the problem worse. Better a sexually active non-pregnant 13 year old, than a pregnant one.

Under US and most state laws, people in health care and teaching positions are generally *required by law* to report any crime committed that they are exposed to in the course of their profession. Therefore, the moment this worker was told the 13 year old's partner was 31, she was informed that the crime of statutory rape had been committed and was obligated to report that to the authorities.
