That's why he is considered "weak" within our republican system, he primarily fulfills representative duties, but also has some power of veto when it comes to enacting laws.
Even though he is the head of our state, our Chancellor is the chief executive within the system and is certainly very well known to the world.

I ran the German version of this video (user:MotorSportBerlin) through a translator to see what they were saying. So you fake self-hating Americans can stop it. Many say "Germany Boy" (yes, using that term) was lucky since he was driving 45km over the limit.
I lived in Germany & they take their posted speed limits seriously, too. They had speed cameras in 1990, at least a decade before must of us Americans got them. Even while some say respect is deserved, they take no pity on the driver.

I would have thought "Phew, I came away with it", afterwards, and "What a nice cop! I'll drive slower, just because he was so friendly".
Didn't even get a ticket. I'm not a fan of cops and I'm german, but this cop is rather calm and nice IMO, compared to some slimebags in Germany I had the opportunity to get to know as a youth.

I am neither from US or Germany, and I am not a big fan of cops. There are numerous video of violent cop videos on the youtube with tasers and such. But cop in *this* video is how every cop should talk. This is a perfectly sane question: "If you don't know the rules, why the hell are you driving?"
Come on, these guys were speeding by almost 40 MPH which is 65 Km/h and they've not been even given a ticket!
