What kind of holster do you use?

@swissarmyca - I use a CR Speed holster for Glocks. Works great and I don't need to worry about the gun ever falling out.

I'm thinking about building a G17 open and I'm wondering what scope/mount combination you use. Is that a C-more? Also, if you shoot 9mm major, did you replace your recoil spring and rod? I plan on sticking to minor, but what did you use? Is your magwell weighted?

Yup, it's a C-more the recoil spring is 14 pound Wolff and it's a steel heavy guide rod. As for minor, I change the spring into 10 pounds. The magwell is not weighted, honestly I don't think it would make much of a difference. This gun was made by SJC customs. So if you check out their site you'll get a lot more info on the open gun internals.

The Samsung SC-X300L. It can be found for under 200 bucks shipped on Ebay (that's where I bought it from). Make sure it has the "L" in the end, cause that means the sports hat cam is included. Great buy!

Haha, you know shooting up here in the north has given me more cuts, bruises, and scraped knees than I ever had in my previous matches in NM and TX. Of course then, we barely kneeled at all. :)

I wouldn't be able to wear the knee pads even if I had them, I would look like a member of the teenage mutant ninja turtles...with a gun.
