For example, you americans spell "colour" "honour" and "armour" without "u"s. americans also completely changed certain words like "pavement" to "sidewalk". =)

@MegaCerealeater if you mean disc 2 of ODST then yes you can use these helmets but to earn most of them you will need the actual halo 3 disc to play the campaign. if you mean the ODST campaign then no as each ODST has their own unique armour and the ODSTs are Orbital Drop Shock Troopers, you don't play as a Spartan in the campaign =)

Well Acually TheXbox360Addict, The Flaming Hayabusa helmet is not a head, but infact a peice if body armor, such as know by those who played on Bungie Day 2010

prices for live are on amazon. for me its worth it but i only buy months at a time. this is because i often play games that i dont go online with. it really depends how much u use it. do u have cod4? rainbow 6 vegas? halo? these are good online games that are worth paying for (there are others as well). just weigh up how much u use it.

yeah i got it recently. the marathon helmet is the helmet for the security armour set. just get 1000G in achievements. u get the katana as well :P

yes you can use hayabusa offline. some armour sets you can get without xbox live, others, you need to get online achievements. if you have the armour set, you can use it offline but only in multiplayer (not in the campaign).

to change your armour, when you set up a game, before you start it, press the start button, when the menu comes up press right on the D-pad, scroll down to "Appearance" then change your armour from there. to help, I'll make a video and post it on youtube in a few days.

yeah that happened to me. i got 1000G and i didn't have marathon or the katana. i just got a few more achievements on halo 3, checked again and i had it.

i don't know if u need more now after the mythic map achievements update or if u just need to wait a while after getting 1000G

to get recon u have to get all of the vidmaster achievements and then get halo 3 odst

u need the vidmaster achievments (4 on halo 3, 3 on halo odst). 3 of these are pretty difficult, the rest are easy.

about the recon armour stuff, i know that getting the vidmaster achievements works because bungie themselves said it but the Bungie vs. World event is unconfirmed but I tohught it was worth mentioning.
