  • U guys do are talented drivers!

  • Love that you used Muse in this video. Well done... Excellent amateur movie.

  • Well done, excellent video.

  • I think this music is perfect. I don't see where all the complaining is coming from.

  • your acting was ok for what you had, it is very hard to act. much credit is do. another thing i here alot of people crying on the music, it was synced up nice, but i would of went with something not so poetic. however i am not the director. last i think alot of people over look that you cant just put any song or musical score you want in a film. you have to get certain permission and guide lines to be followed with out getting sued.

    so A for effort guys

  • This is great and the shots are amazingly keyed but i have to agree that butterflies and hurricanes did not match what happened at all... if you just changed the music it would lessen that corniness... that song is for like the last battle of good and evil forces colliding... not a car chase where nothing happens

  • Muse!!!!

  • i didnt like how the guy with the second car was acting

  • mastermusician... was it his accent that bothered you? Because the accent he was pulling off is the authentic accent of the country he lived in.

  • no dude.. haha .. i know that.. the accent was perfect.. the thing is that every time he was gonna talk he looked like he was about to laugh

  • 2:46^^

who is this behind them in their car :D??

  • liek teh video but i think the music didnt match up..with it

  • windheavenX... could you leave another comment and elaborate your point? I'm interested in hearing it, because when this was edited, it was done to the music, matching specific beats of the song.

  • watching it a second time i realise that the your trying to establish the desperation of the atmosphere present in the car chase scene (hence using muse). Maybe thats one reason. What i said before about the music was because at that time i thought it would match up better with action music, fast paced.I just think this paticular tune sounds a bit off with the video because this track is a bit to heroic and sad (makes the video a bit corny)where as the car chase is more serious and dramatic.

  • as for the beats it matches up, but i personally think there could have been a far better track to match up with the vid. Well just my opionion (and yea im looking for a complimentary tune also lol)

  • Wow, good job ruining a great Muse song with this crap.

  • To Gypsyandboots... while numbers don't always mean everything... At the time I leave this comment, the video has about 8,462 views. That's about 8,344 more views then your video. There's no need to be jealous of the masterful visual effects Michael did with a zero budget. Or anything else done with this video with a zero budget. Thanks for watching and adding another hit, whatever your true motives were for leaving such a sour comment. A song cannot be ruined when it is used.

  • What visual effects are in this?! The only reason people watch this is because it's from the guys who made Dorkman vs. Ryan. So think of that when your views increase.

  • well when theyre in the car.

cnt u see its a lil bit different when he was driving and talking to his friends.?

    they used greenscreen for that.

u can check the tutorial from andrew kramer.

so yeah, u have to be observant, when i watch this for the first time i've already noticed it.

  • the compostitiing could have been a little better but still good

  • To TheUROA... if you had seen the original raw image before green screen compositing... you'd see that Michael actually did an excellent job. It's probably as good as it could be with the way the subjects were shot with the green screen. We didn't have a green screen expert on set. So we did what we knew and understood as best as possible during production and Michael made it look great.

  • Oh, yeah, and I have the same jacket as the black guy.

  • That was pretty good, and kudos on the editing, filming and all because there was NO way you were Really driving like that!

Can't wait to see the rest. Oh, yeah, and broadbent48, shut the F*** up and go get bent like your username says you do.

  • I'll just write the complete word-

    knee-cunt-pop, go fuck yourself.

    Keep your opinions to yourself.

  • At 1.56 the black guy jerked over even before the other car hit him. LOL

I thought he was doing a Janet Jackson move or something.... Nasty.

  • Glad to see you're analyzing it hard enough to find something to make fun of. Thank you for giving our video further attention and providing more hits.

  • This was not a car chase.

A gilted lover busted his boyfriend with another.

I doubt they got over 45 MPH.

And the ugly black guy looked like he was in the commuters lane illegally.

    This was shit.

can't believe it came up when I was watching the new bond car chase.

  • Hey broadbent48. I totally appreciate you comparing a 225 million dollar budget film like Quantum of Solace to our zero-budget car chase. That says a lot about our piece that you'd actualy even compare the two. And I appreciate even more you taking the time to execute your sad attempt at creating a quip using a theme of comedy that has been done to death as a negative comment on youtube in general. I hope to provide you the same courtesy with creative thought if you actually post something.

  • One good thing-

    The white guy is cute.

    otherwise rubish!

  • Toyota Avenesis vs Honda Accord....

    Both Japanese!

  • Nice! Definitely leaves me wanting more! And excellent choice of music. Muse is like my all-time favorite band. :D

  • I love that they are driving super fast...and yet not catching any other car on the road...

  • Ahh, the old Exit 16 trick!!!

Nice. I liked the way you tackled the cars bumping. It would be good to see it in full context.

  • I'm not convinced that music was particularly appropriate for a car "chase" - that said, it's difficult to judge without seeing more of it.

  • 3:37 the boom mic almost looked like it was wearing a wig.... lol just fyi keep up the good stuff ok?

  • From your comment, I am not sure if you realize that was not a boom. That was the back of the head of one of the characters.

  • I was only kidding anyways.... I loved this film!

  • Nice but how is the Kung-fu-girl-ghost gonna save them?

  • A baby needs it's father too...

  • this is a cool scene, keep up the good work. i would definitely watch this (For free, lol!)

  • did you make this video?

  • Check out the little box in the upper right hand corner. There is a little button you can click on titled "(more info)." That will probably answer your question.

  • That's my favorite song well at least only the sound track. Yea Muse - Butterflies And Hurricanes... How do you guys maneged to use that?

It's Coll, I liked allot when they get out of the car and pop up the trunk and when the guy with the gun apears side to them. way cool ;)

  • the sounds for the car screaching could have been a bit better, but overall it was great.

  • Very cool, very professional! absolutly cool!

  • hehe, I thought that looked like the Woodman Ave exit ;-)

I'm intrigued. That guy looked like he was about to open up a can of hurt...

    ~Trav

  • FANTASTIC CHROMA KEY EFFECTS!!!@

  • MUSE!!!! love the song. Butterflies and hurricanes, right?

  • Nice man. I love the camera shot where the dude wakes up and the guys are outta the car. I also love 1:11 where you can see a glimpse of the camera in the rear view mirror. But then again I look for that shit. =o)~

  • Clever camera work, good job!

  • keep it up I want more!

    I also want a RVD 3 :)

  • nice music, self made? if so i want it in my itunes! :D

  • Def really cool. The only problem I had with it, was the sounds. There really wasn't very much in there. They make such a difference when you're watching a movie. Especially a car chase or fist fight. But, I really like the whole idea of doing a car chase. I don't think anyone on youtube has really attempted that before. Very good for an amature film. Keep up the great work guys. I look forward to more.

  • And with your added comment you just made the "stupid video" that much more famous. Nice job! *thumbs up*

  • i have seen your videos darkdust, i dont think you have any right to say that this was "stupid". take alook in the mirror someday..

  • AWESOME!!!

    this was perfect!

i love the editing in it. knowing that you had to use green/blue screen, and outside footage for the car chase, it was great!

i could only barely tell, but i was so wrapped up in the story/action i didn't notice it.

the Muse song was a great choice, did you find some people to make a nonvocal version? because that was a great choice.

    very well done!

  • That was pretty good. Why isn't there a website for the movie? Or is there? A MySpace?

How much did it cost to license the muse song, and Roll It Up by the Crystal Method, which was used in the special features for RVD 2?

  • lol awsome man

  • great i loved RVD 1 &2 this great as well... Keep it up
