Actually, a lot of "blame" (I wouldn't use that term, though), does have to do while the child is in the womb. Like I said, the physical and mental state of the mother while the kid is in the womb has a HUGE impact on the kid. From 0 to the ages of 25ish is when you, as a person, will be impacted mentally the most.
Also, once again, a kid may see some gangster woman being abused, but it'll be his surroundings and environment that may or may not lead him to beating a woman, not TV
