I'm a MBC fan to my Heart but CAU burned ASU ass that particular battle....What I find so ironic is that ASU is in the SWAC and CAU is in the SIAC and the SWAC is suppose to be quote on quote the "Superior " conference out of all the HBCU Conferences!!!
@jazzeejai lol...that's just was some of the SWAC heads (not necessarily those in the any of those schools) think. What some people don't know is that ASU was a founding member and didn't leave the SIAC until 1976. As well as some other schools.
@jazzeejai Haaaaa.... im a fan of the swac conference (some schools) but they are not in my opinion the "superior" conference. I always thought that the meac had better musicianship... and i grew up around all swac.

My high school band director went to ASU, then CAU, so she HAD to to bring us to this game lol. As we used to play it in high school, I'm probably partial to the Clark version...but their trumpets WERE doing too much. Clark's low brass & tubas were magnificent, though. "Griiiiiiits" XD
Minus the ASU Mello's, they won this one easily. CAU sounded good when it was just the low brass. When those trumpets and horns came in, it sounded like they were playing with party whistles. They were trying to hard to take up the 3rd trumpet part..lol or whatever they were doing
