I grinded so much in this game soooooooo much. Then after you finally levled up you had to grind some more. HOURS AND HOURS but it was a fun game

@DelDuio Finding the Brown Coat out of random chance would for sure be much more difficult if you didn't have the help of this video or the walkthroughs in Nintendo Power. But oddly enough, I did happen to find the Cloak of Ice on my own back when I played through this game. I knew there were a bunch of hidden items in 7th Saga so I searched all over the place everywhere I went, only to find one of the most helpful armors for Esuna stashed away behind some pillar in a dungeon. It pays to look!

My first playthrough was with Lux... he's adorable. my favourite character. and he never steals runes off you as a sidekick along with esuna.

this game requires so much fucking grinding it's ridiculous. Don't even think about talking to another hero if you haven't saved before hand.. they will always destroy your ass, steal your runes, and make your life harder.

SOOOO true!!! Although I found out that you can hand their ass to them if you play solo the whole game through. I found Wilme to be particularly easy to beat.

I play as Lejes and I joined up with Valsu. I read somewhere that Valsu would never join Lejes? Is that only if you play as Valsu? Because he sure did join me at least when I played as Lejes.

Gems you find are generally just items you will want to sell for extra Gold. However if you want to conserve your money in case you think you may get dropped in battle you can deplete your Gold on various gems as they will sell for the original bought price.
