I can help but be skeptical of self proclaimed " human rights" activists. They are famed for their hypocrisy and selective judgement. I actually disagree with a lot of the things declared in this.
There are declarations in this which contradict. The moment I saw we "SHOULD" all be friendly towards each other, I knew there were problems with this declaration. THERE ARE NO SHOULDS, ONLY IS. A declaration of universal human rights must be based in self-evident truth rather than idealism. Equality and freedom cannot be based on such mandates as should. The GOVERNMENT MUST, not SHOULD!
PLZ REVISE, then I'll give this my blessing.

@narutolll Attempting to understand someone who would use violence to stand on the backs of the people will not achieve peace; it will only make you a slave or an exile.
In a perfect world understanding would beget understanding, but for now those with perfect compassion will only find themselves trampled under by those stampeding for power and wealth. I think what we need is to use violence only to answer violence, and not to answer peaceful dissonance. Once violence is dead, THEN peace.

I do not believe the world will ever be perfect, but violence is the main source of everything that makes this world a bad place to live half of the time. In Africa people are suffering and dying because of selfishness and greed. They torture and kill for diamonds. And the diamond sellers in America are buying the diamonds which begets more violence. Do you really think violence is what's needed? No. If they stopped supporting it, it would stop.

@narutolll I think that violence against those who are using violence is the only violence that's actually beneficial. If someone murdered those who used violence to get the diamonds in Africa, soon there wouldn't be anyone left doing that and the violence would stop.
In cases where things can be solved nonviolently they should, like by everyone simply refusing to buy the diamonds. However, in our world that's not always an option. Sometimes the only way to overcome violence, is violence.

@pkemrin Revenge. Its a chain of hatred that has been in existence ever since man was born. Revenge is something that causes incredible pain, hatred and motivation to voluntarily another human being. It is the main cause of hatred and pain. Violence is what began the chain of revenge. So, violence will not cause it to stop. People that kill for diamonds are guaranteed to have loved ones. If we kill loved ones, revenge will never cease to exist. as long as there's violence there will be violence.

And violence should only be used to the extent to put a stop to the initial violence and prevent any probable future violence.

I can help but be skeptical of self proclaimed " human rights" activists. They are famed for their hypocrisy and selective judgement. For example, they are outraged when Saddam Hussein suppresses the Kurds yet they are not bothered the slightest when hearing that 567,000 Iraqi children have died as a result of sanctions. They really don't care about whether or not innocent people live or die. All they care is that democracy prevails, and that alone justifies all brutalities.

I have read the US constitution and not once is god mentioned (can access it's text from many sites on the web); be it as an ambiguous mention of divinity or being specific to the christian god. Don't get me wrong; I find the american consitution a truly remarkable document for the establishment of a nation; very difficult to improve on and was certainly hundreds of years ahead of it's time.

@clyde4s Yes most definitely there is a difference and I personally believe that rioters no matter what their age should be shot, hung drawn and quartered. I do not believe in Human Rights for all only for those who show they deserve it by respect for authority and wish to show humanity to others. However when they cross the line then extreme measures should be taken for the benefit of decent law abiding and hard working people. Democratic Countries have a tendency to be too soft.
