  • every accident is speed related..... god damn.

  • 3:27- not the shrubbery!!!

  • speed lobby! XD I dont know where they get that from. :D

  • I live in Germany and one time I drove 214 km/h; I thing 130 miles/h

  • I was so nervous my first time on the Autobahn, even as the passenger. Doing 290km/h in a 911 4s. Woo.

  • No wonder South Park satirized that channel.

  • That is just not true! Dont trust that Video!

  • Never be late for work again.... Smh I wished I could go back to Germany.. We Americans are not responsible enough for this technology lol

  • The question here is, are those accidents really caused by speed or by irresponsible drivers?

  • well of course all ghost drivers are sociapaths and they all just want to kill themselves ;)

Its not like there is an 80 year old guy simply driving on the wrong tramp no no they are all ''sociopaths''

  • it's so funny to hear what americans think about us :D

  • GERMANY IS HARDCORE WE NEVER GO LESS THAN 100 MPH

  • i tell, im living in a part of germany, where the autobahn is not crowded at all. testing speedlimit with my dads vw. 149 mph for half an hour. i tell you. it rules. but ur also scared as fuck.

  • omg xD i'm german, and this video is just a pieco of shit xD there are just 20 % of the autobahn, who are really without any speed limit. And there, you can often not drive as fast as you can because there is too much traffic. It is ridicilous xD

  • German woman.

    German cars.

    German Autobahn.

  • if you use the autobahn as a racing track and endanger other drivers with your behaviour, you'll loose your licence in no time.

  • 2:29 110 miles per hour? That's only 177 km/h!

  • At every highway are speed cameras which are controlling the speed of the vehicles.

Additional to the speed cameras there are civil policemen, who are catching over speeding drivers.

And this are only some of the reasons why germany is certainly NOT the "land of speeding".

Btw: if you get caught overspeeding on a highway in germany you get a ban on driving for two months the first time.

  • @Medardusai however compared to f.i. the netherlands, the monetary fine is very low. so for foreigners who only occasionally pass through Germany the penalty is almost non-existent.

  • This video is dumb. If you would come here to germany and drive like that your license would be gone as faster as you could accelerate.

    The truth ist:

More than 80% of the german Highways are limited at 120km/h (that are about 75 miles per hour).

    In 2011 there were about 500.000km (310 686 miles) of bumper-to-bumper (accumulation).

  • @Medardusai again wrong... see my last comment

  • Comment removed

  • mein rekord waren 290km/h mitm VW Phäton ;-)

  • My dad went there and he drove a Ferrari 599 GTO 325 KP/H!!!!

  • @gajustempus I can aggre with you in every point exept point one in germany are about one half of all Autobahn kilometers without a speed limit and about 33% have a permanant speed limit the rest has a changing speedlimit depending on traffic and weather situation

  • If yall wanna hear a song about the AUTOBAHN check out my channel and listen to the song AUTOBAHN! trust me, its awesome.

  • can someone answer this for me please? If someone makes a accident and it was caused by high speed can the driver be charged for wreckless driving?

  • i love europe

  • Its very rare that one gets to actually drive over 160kph. Many roads during daytime are very full. Also, people who come from abroad to Germany just to speed have to be careful, its not a race track or tourist attraction. I have seen so many idiots in rental cars doing stupid stuff. In Europe in general its okay to drive at higher speeds without landing in jail, fines are more common.

  • i love germany hahah

  • "It´s actually illegal to drive slow here"

"It´s actually okay to pass a cop here"

WHERE ARE WE ?! AUTOBAHN !!

  • @pakiblaster : madness?

    THIS ... IS ... GERMANY !

  • Where I live it's like 80% of the Autobahn has no speed limit.. Low population.^^

  • Ok people realize that you can only go this fast in rural areas. The reason its safe is the lack of cars on the road. Anywhere in the eastern US its just to conjested to go even 90.

Go out to the plains to driving like that but you will have to look out for cops.

  • I wanna drive my 1996 Impala SS on the Autobahn for one time I wonder if it could handle it...

  • They should of made the Interstate Highway System like this because nobody goes the posted Speed Limit anyway.

  • Beethoven? Really? What a loser.

  • @REANIMATI0N2 I understand that you're an angry teenager with no appreciation for music (beyond easy-listening forms of pop, hip-hop or metal) but Beethoven is generally considered to be one of the greatest song writers of all time. His works are monumental. Someday you'll understand.

  • greetings from germany. And hell, there's so much DAMN WRONG with this report it actually hurts.

    1. only around 20% of all Autobahn areas are without a limit. And even those are usually full - so you can't drive as fast as you want

    2. We don't have the same amount of accidents, but MUCH LESS than the AVERAGE

    3. there is nothing like a "speed lobby" here.

    4. IF you translate a german speaking guy, at least translate it the RIGHT way!

  • @gajustempusshut up you know you wish you were german.

  • @gajustempus only 1/3 are generally limited...

  • @gajustempus Someone should correct your 1st point:

35% have a regular or temporary speed limit 5% are limited because of road works 7% can be limited by traffic control systems

So ONLY in the case that all of these temporary speed limit sections get their speed limit AND everywhere it's necessary to control traffic by limiting speed (weather, high traffic, ...) THEN we get a total of 47%! That means 53% without any speed limit and not your 20!

    (based on ADAC 2010 report)

  • @gajustempus greetings from germany. I think there's many things DAMN WRONG in your comment.

    1. only a third of all Autobahn areas has permanent speed-limits.

    2. this is not what is said in the report. it just says, that there are accidents in Germany as well as in all other countries.

    3. the ADAC and the german car industry have a great influence on transport policy. you could arguably call this a lobby

    4. what's wrong with the translation? I can't even hear him under the voiceover

  • @puolki

1: I'm talking about routes which can be actually CONSIDERED driving "fast". A 2-lane-highway with one lane full of trucks and no speed limit can't be driven at 300, right ;)

    2. well, in that case you heard something not between the lines...

    3. they're not a "lobby", as they don't demand even MORE. They try to keep the standard where it is - but mostly for security reasons.

    4. as said on 2 :)

  • km/h*

  • haha you guys are lucky when it comes to that...if they caught me doing 90 mph (150 kl/h or so) I'd be treated like a total asshole as well as another 15 minutes late for work

that's why we have a little thing here called radar detection...which isn't always as foolproof as it sounds : (

  • I love the Autobahn. Every day I do more than 200km/h (120mph) legally on my way to work

  • Canadian Highways: 4 lanes, speed limite 100km/h

German Highways: 2 lanes, no speed limit...

    Fuck my country..

  • @Ryou5454 I Love my country, and i love the german autobahn tomorrow i will drive with over 200km/h to my work :D in Bayern greetings from GERMANY

  • @Knallfrosch1984 lucky you!

  • i love my country :D

  • it sounds so ridiculous if you live in germany and grew up with it :D

  • @225Billygoat oh my god you are sooooooooo creative

  • France has empty freeways because no one wants to pay :D :D

And Switzerland is just epic, you dont have to pay to take a shit :D :D

  • @waddlerobloxxxx

in switzerland you have to pay 40 sfr to use the highway for a year. thats +- 45 usd.

  • i so want to drive there!

  • "auf der A2 kommt ihnen ein geisterfahrer entgegen!" - "einer? hunderte!"

  • @bitbucked dito.^^

  • "It´s ok to pass a cop!"

  • lol americans are so cute :D "whoooo were going 200 kmh!"

  • i remember when the M1 in the u.k had no speed limit

  • when i came to the autobahn the first time in driving school, my instructor told me to speed up to 190 km/h (118 mph) to get a feeling for the speed :-D i love germany

  • why the fuck cant you pass a policecar in the US ? just tell me why ?

  • @kebabrullemums Because in the United States, 99% of drivers actually do 5mph over the speed limit. This includes police. So if you pass a police car in the US, then you would be doing 10-15 mph over the speed limit, which is illegal. You're not getting pulled over for passing the police car, you're getting pulled over for speeding.

  • Fuck that, put on some Distrubed or Slipknot XD.

  • why couldn't i've been german, us interstates suck ass.Old people driving slow, and people not moving over when your going on the left lane T-T

  • @justin22619

Dont worry...left lane blockers are everywhere - .-

It happens way to often that you are doing 220 and got to break down to 100 because some fag in front of you blocks the lane ~.~

  • wonder how much they pay for fuel up there, you ain't getting tht good of fuel economy going over 100

  • nice report...

  • good thing in germany: if the government slows down the autobahn, the same thing will happen if you dont let the americans buy guns :D

  • 3:15 << thats what happens when u listen to bethovan at 110 mph...

  • @ingo345 HAHAHAHAHHAHAH!!!!

  • Jotos ^^^

  • Thanks to this unlimited speed sectional network, significant numbers of organ donors are concurrently harvested...so keep them rolling in 'speed-freaks'...

  • @Ebsteins31653

autobahn has less lethal accidents than any of those highways of the neighbouring states. your argument is pointless :-(

  • @katukatakato It does not! My arguement is based upon pure maths...applied statistics. The number of those whom die later in hospital from such accidents too, at even lower speeds, is utterly significant. Significant numbers of organs (those whom of course give consent) are harvested from this road network. Significant!

  • @Ebsteins31653 actually there are more deadly accidents on the bundestrasse (country roads) than on the autobahn.the autobahn is actually very safe.the most unsafe subjects on autobahn are tired truck drivers caused by stupid work schedules. or just the bad drivers which are doing ohter stuff while driving.

  • 130 - 140 pfttt.. i had drive 160km/h alot of time and im just 18 !!

  • Damn I wish they had this in the US. Damn US propaganda about speeding and traffic fatalities

  • in my country (holland) the max speed is 120, they want to make it 130 but so many people are against it! fuck them! I am happy germany is like 20 minutes driving from my house. it's just.. I am 15 so I got to wait 3 years till I can drive a car :( :( :( :( FUUUUCKKKK!

  • @GsanderG

lol i know, im dutch to and next month i get 18 and when i get my drivers license ill go to germany just to drive on the autobahn at top speed :D although it is a bit longer drive from the haque :P

  • @GsanderG

ja, The Haque is Den Haag.

  • @GsanderG It's great that you're 15. I wouldn't want to share a road with you.

  • @mmoonnssaa haha :P

  • @GsanderG yes this is true..here in italy is the same not over 130km\h..but holland is holland, people, the city the music, the fields..holland is so beautiful. Everytime i see a car with german or holland plate i would like to go to the driver and say hi friends!!

  • @GsanderG But you're welcome when you're ready ;)

  • @SpeedMjam thanks :D

  • @GsanderG that sucks...you would be able to drive already in some of the united states

  • I once went to the US, the first thing I noticed, damn everything goes so slowly!

  • They should take an almost straight interstate in the US and do that!

  • If you YouTube'd "German On The Highway (From Rebecca Black) LIKE this comment! :D

  • deutschlang is halt geil. kann man nix machen :D

  • Deutschland !!!!!! Haha genial ;)

  • i've reached over 225 km/h, in mexican highways!!

  • @asskicker231

i drive on the autobahn more than 250 km/h an its legal!! greets from germany to all!

  • the greatest highway in the world. learned of this place from need for speed :)

  • 3:32 and this little kids happens if you dont drive adjusted to traffic desity.

  • Everyone that's German, we've all heard of the Autobahn, we all know what it is, we all know it's "rules", or, lack there of, we don't need a comment on it every 10 seconds.

  • its very nice with no limit you travel in 4,30h from munich to berlin

  • lol i would listen to megadeth symphany of destruction while doing 100 mph

  • you might wanna keep right for that Porsche going 180 mph.. just an idea

  • why the fuck wouldnt it be allowed to pass a policecar ?

  • @TheTrackFiend I don't think what you think his point is is actually his point. I don't think he's saying why would you listen to anything while you're going that fast. Instead I think he thinks listening to Bethoven is stupid all together, especially at 110mph. But I agree with you that people would probably whip out their cell phones at that speed in this country lol.

  • bullshit its not illegal to drive to slow if your vehicel is abel to drive 60 km/h you can drive on the autobahn if its not driving minimum 60km/h its not allowed to drive on our autobahn and there are speed limits sorry to all the americans normally its allowed to drive 120 km/h but there are many parts on the autobahn where you can drive as fast as your vehicle can drive for example the entire A 5 its the name of a part of our autobahn you drive as fast as you want

  • Being from the midwest (US) all I can think is, wow, they must not have deer in Germany. Whenever I drive on interstates here across Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, etc all I think is, will no deer run out in front of me please.

  • @kjparlay In Europe modern freeways have special fences to separate animals from freeway, so animals can't run in front of your car. From time to time (somewhere around 20km) there are special bridges-passing for animals so they can run from one part of forest to another.

  • @kjparlay fuck deer :D you are tought to just run trough it if it ever happens :p insurance will pay. but that doesnt usualy happen on a highway. deer can be a real problem on smaller roads called "landstraßen". here the speedlimit generaly is 100km/h

  • I make my driving license in these days, greetz from germany. We have to learn to drive fast at our driving school

  • @klausr94

    watch?v=T0v9YN5bZsI

    watch?v=6oheFW3gED4

    watch?v=0sOr8XX9rpw

  • I make my driving license in these days, greetz from germany. ;)

  • I just jizzed in my pants a little

  • wow is there a speed lane or juSt anywhere on that highway ?

  • there are speed limits on a lot of the autobahn ....

  • SUBSCRIBE TO MY CHANNEL PLEASE!!!??

  • autobahn best highway in the world

  • I love the Highways in Germany no limit for ever the best race track of the World!!!!

  • so...............i drive 180 on a normal road

  • hahahahahah

  • 2:28 "Listening to Bethovan..." the guy is a douchebag. how dumb would be the person who would listen to bethovan at over 110 MPH??

  • @kinjat56 you're fucking stupid

  • @sheeveington i didn't know there are so many douche bags around the world.

  • @kinjat56 I prefer the term asshole, being that i have a low tolerance for stupid bullshit.

  • @sheeveington Im not stopping you from listening bethovan at high speeds, go ahead geek.

  • @kinjat56 Oh now i'm a geek because i wouldnt mind doing that? shows how fucking ignorant you realy are. You're the douche here.. gtfo

  • @kinjat56 40 year old virgin can, lmao

  • @johnyrate LOOOOLLLLLL, yeah and he seems very angry on this forum, lmao

  • @kinjat56 sophisticated speed demons...i'd totally do it :P

  • @tharwpoop lol

  • @kinjat56 I don't listen to Bethovan, or any classical music for that matter, but I have an open enough mind to understand that some people have different taste in music than I do, and that life is full of unique experiences. Some people like classical music, and some people drive on the Autobahn... combining the 2 together is not illegal or stupid. You don't have to listen to hip hop every time you think you're doing something cool in a car... or doing anything cool for that matter.

  • @2thongsprong yeah sure everyone has a right to listen whatever they like. But i don't think it is a life affirming experience as it is fairly uncommon.

  • @kinjat56 if its uncommon, then it is clearly a unique experience; all the more reason to give it a shot! ^_^

  • @kinjat56 whats wrong with that?

  • @kinjat56 Why the fuck not? Beethoven is fucking awesome.

  • @Falconxxxfaith go ahead, im outta here

  • @kinjat56 Haha, it's chill man. I guess we just got different tastes and preferences, ya know? It just some classics that's inspired to create ours now. But hey, listen to whatever you want next time you're on the autobahn! Haha, take care buddy. (:

  • @kinjat56

Man 110 mph is not much in Germany, you just can listen to a sleepsong for kids, when you drive so slow.

  • @kinjat56 your absolutely right. good logic thinking ! That´s why I listen to Beethoven instead of Bethovan when I´m driving 130 MPH. Greetz from Germany.

  • @bochum123123 hmm, good for u :)

  • @kinjat56 Motley crue-kickstart my heart] would definately suit the mood a little better !

  • @kinjat56 well i do like classical music when i drive 250km/h (: but that must be a german thing

  • @kinjat56 Hey, fuck you. Your opinions on music suck.

  • @Gunnanator No wonder, the comment is coming from a nerd who spends most of his time playing games. Dude there is life out there:))))))

  • @kinjat56 Actually, I just spent 4 days on a river with my friends. I like to spend a good portion of my free time on things I enjoy. If it's playing video games, then so be it. I find it funny that you would say the way you spend your free time is better then the way I spend mine. It's probably not : )

  • @Gunnanator Dude, i didn't mean to offend you. OK fine, i take my words back. Everybody has his own choice, so be it. I am no one to force my opinion upon others. Peace!!

  • @kinjat56 don't be such a dick... the guy from top gear that tests the track time for cars listens to like oprea and french audiobooks while he drives 110+ .... so please...stfu

  • @wendyspwnsu GOD ur'e a genius. LMAO
