@funnyguy1012 I am not sure. My first guess would be to try and attach the cable to a different monitor and see if it is the cable or the monitor that is creating the blurry image. Then work from there.

@funnyguy1012 Measure the resistance, every pin. If there is more than 1ohm of resistance over a connection it will be blurry or even have other colours.

@nkatong Here is the low down. Xbox output is 16:9 and most monitors are 16:10. Unless you have a 1080p monitor you usually dont have 16:9. When you use this cable you need to get an update online so that the 360 knows to display the game in the proper proportions on screen. This will give you black bars on top and bottom but your image will no longer be stretched out.

Possible you just need to update.

No, you can not plug this into your laptop. It can only be plugged into a display. Your laptop only has a VGA output. Not input.

No man sorry. The VGA cable gives somewhat poor quality. It won't compare to the HDMI. The only reason I chose the VGA cable was because it was a cheap option.
