Damnation has nothing to do with the word "damn" neither does a "dam" you're too young to understand this I assume. My point is that Damnation is not offensive nor is it bad. I'm guessing you don't know what Damnation means. Think about the word He'll or Hail. those words are close enough to hell and tv shows for kids say "heck" Nickelodeon is more realistic than something like Disney they don't.
