This is a pretty cool little trick to know about, but my personal opinion is that it's much better to just count the 8 bars, then move onto the next scene. Create the music with your brain, not the software.
@Hamtosss I generally agree with you, however I've done some remixes using some eastern sounding vocals where the phrasing isn't based on a 8 bar structure. Being used to western music, sometimes in the heat of the performance, you default to what you know, assuming the 8 bar phrasing, and then you get lost. So it's good to have a little reminder.
you can also desactivate "loop" and use a follow action with "repeat" in order to see the timer when needed...
