  • We could keep it as the last sample of what we used to call Cinema. Amazing scene...

  • I see the top two comments have nothing to do with the content of this amazing film.

This just reinforces the fact that the majority of American audiences are like children.

  • @taylorkate125 And what in particular has your comment to do with Truffaut's work? Wait - nothing! lol Seriously, this is youtube and this is just a very little excerpt from this movie. Those two people above expressed how touched they were by this one scene, and this is what Truffaut's movies are for. Food for thought and reflecting real life and real emotions. It doesn´t takean entire intellectual essay to see this scene is wonderful.

  • Man, these kids!!

  • I could seriously watch this all day.

  • This scene is so fucking lovely

  • Por Dios! Todos los nenes son fotografiables!

    Genial.

  • Jean-Pierre Léaud delivers his great lines so well in this movie. Antoine Doinel is doubtlessly one of the most endearing character in french cinema.

He doesn't stop being funny with time, as well as being very moving sometimes. Watch Stolen Kisses (1968) and Bed and Board (1970) for instance!

  • Vuelves a la infancia con esta escena! Preciosa película, aunque dura, muy real...

  • French children rule !!

  • Wonderful scene. Children being children.

Often in American films and TV children are fed sarcastic lines of script that reflect the cynical scriptwriters of Hollywood more than actual childhood expressions.

  • @Bonobo3D

That's the truest (and most beautiful) comment I've read; I wish everyone would read this!

  • Scenes like this are why I love cinema so much.

  • I love this scene. Thanks so much for uploading it!

  • What's amazing about the scene is, the kids are so absorbed by the puppet show...they don't notice the camera!

  • my favourite scene of the movie, thanks for uploading this!

  • amazing movie

  • 1.33 - possibly the most lovely thing i have ever seen in my life!

  • I notice that part too you're talking about. They are so cute!

  • Molto bello!

  • This Guignol still exists! I bring my little bro there sometimes! It's an institution...lol ;-)

  • Best movie in the world. All French kids are well dressed.

  • So untrue about the "well-dressed" part... You should come to my country more often and you'll see that's untrue... Especially my bro...lol ;-)

  • Little kids don't dress themselves!

  • Well this was also filmed a long time ago! People in general dressed better for everyday things, back then.

  • Cool check out our puppet video.

Search for Noel Lambert Puppet Theatre

  • This is one of my favorite parts!!!! The expressions on their little faces. Wonderful.

  • Sweet!

  • thank you so much for this... i'm madly in love for this movie. what i like the most from this scene are the children's faces. they look so lovely and amazed...

  • Truffaut is fab.
