Typical KB hoons! LOL. How do you manage to keep the wind noise down and sytill hear the bikes? I find the wind noise drowns out my bike's sound completely.
Cheers for the sub. (that goes fior all subscribers too.
My setup has the mic on the end of a longish wire so I put the mic down inside my jacket or in my backpac.
The down side to that is that I sometimes get russling noises from the material and when I talk it's often kind of muted. When others talk it comes out clearer. Could be that they have a better angle to the mic and my helmet blocks my voice a bit.
Hey man, great videos! nice to see another kiwi biker posting stuff here.
Man I really miss off roading. I used to do alot of motox but have 2 road bikes now. While I love them both to pieces, I do still yearn for an off roader. A DR or XR would suit me to a tee.
You're based in Chch? Next time you go for a jaunt round the harbour, gimme a yell beforehand. I live out there so could come join ya.
I used to know a couple who lived under the radio mast at the top of Gebbies, they had a great pad and raced an RG400 and a Cagiva Allazura GT. Good folk.
hello ^_^!

Jesus I miss those roads. And the Wheatsheaf.
But you didn't stop at Smuggies!

Hi buddy, good to see you're still watching.
Not familiar with Smuggies, is that the one in Governors Bay?
We're riding to Duvauchelle tonight. I'd like to record that, but ain't really preped with tape and charged batteries this time.

Yep, Smuggler's Arms. I used to love the beer garden there , catches the sun nicely (though you guys went through too late for that by the looks).
That's what California misses, good beer gardens.
Like the Leithfield, Sefton,Hilltop, Wheatsheaf, Smuggies, Tai Tapu, Cust.
You don't know how lucky you are!
Looking forward to more of these, they're great vids.

Thanks for putting that up dude. At one point, when you're following me, I can even hear my bike :)

lol, what, only at one point??
Almost the entire ride has the other bikes engine noise buzzing overtop of the DRs rather quieter and different single cylinder thumper sound.
transalpernz 4 years ago
yeah, but thankfully you're only following me once on this video, otherwise that would have been the only thing you would have heard :)
