Madden 2010 Issues with breaking tackles. Ratings , Physics or Pro Tack based?

This is why I think EA should make a new Madden every two years or so to work out all this crap. They need to take their time and work on improving the game. They can always sell roster updates for the previous game to hold off all the players who are waiting for the new game.

Some of the morphing in this play isn't the worst that Madden has. I once had five guys surrounding my brother's lone Quarter-Back, and, without even going into Pro-Tak, four of them get flung off by a force field, and the last guy, about twice the size of the QB, gets broken-tackled...

My brother wasn't able to score the touchdown on the play though, because his QB did a slide when he wanted him to do a dive.

People talk about someone break 4 tackles in one play, i bet the next couple of plays he breaks no tackles, jus how madden works, kind of levels out. This is a good point, however, madden could look at this and simply take a leave forward.

If instead of a stiff arm, you had've tried to do what most RBs do when they are in this position and regain your feet, spin and get the linebacker's hands to your waist, this would have been a great animation.

It simply should have been: run to hole, get stuffed, get lifted, regain feet, spin, *(maybe stiff arm)* put head down, drive feet, finish. at most a 1 or two yard gain, at worst a tfl

this is nothing one time i was playing a friend and i was running with the ball and after i was two yards pass his fs he tackled me,somehow by teleporting through the ground 4 yards and slid up my body and made the tackle. i wish i would have saved. then another time we were playing i was using the pats and in the 3rd qt all of my starting wrs and rb went to lunch or something because they werent on the feild and i couldnt sub them back in. so my fb was at wr. very true story

If that was Marion Barber the game will tackle him. And too many times the blocked LB or DL going to the ground never reaches it and will make a solid tackle against a RB. First off, EA should respect its consumers more and not put out anything but a quality demo void of game flaws like this. This demo might be the only interaction people have with M10.

Secondly, this is a major game issue from a physics stand point. I have a hard time seeing this as a "final tweak" before the game was published.

Chances are very good the demo is an all to accurate representation of the final game.
