I want a heated jacket for sitting at my telescope in the dark. Too bad it has a light on it. That would ruin my night vision and make me public enemy #1 at a star party. Can you turn off the light?

How well do you suppose a jacket like this will work for us motorcycle riders? I'm in Northern California and it gets pretty brisk going for a ride first thing in the morning where temps are as low as 35F.
