  • So why dont we just dump a few thousand tons of ozone into the ozone layer? Would that not solve this problem?

  • @jebes909090 the point i was trying to make with this video is that there is no problem. that the changes in the ozone hole are cyclical and natural and that therefore the ozone hole scare was a serious and costly error.

  • Do you think that the person responsible for these images at NASA was sleeping on the job in 1995?? LOL. Just a thought. Thanks for posting this video with the adorable music. :-)

  • well maybe it spreads super big in 2012 and we all get cancer and die

  • wtf happend in 2002

  • @simplyjongen yeah suddenly it shrank? or did sensors become more accurate and the whole was actually smaller than first thought? or did the whole really shrink up. anyone remember anything about 2002?

  • Ozone data shows the hole has shrunk several times but generally has been consistant in its size. All this BS about environment dangers is smoke being blown up our butts for political manipulation of people by world governments

  • @jagg1951 the point of this video very succinctly summarized. thank you.

  • @chaamjamal Thank you for uploading it. Nothing like " just the facts ma"am" reporting of the evidence with no spin

  • @chaamjamal Neither of you have lived in New Zealand, obviously!

Try going outside in the summer here, and tell us there's no ozone hole. The difference in 20 years has been frightening. Even if you're really brown, you get nasty burns, and you don't need to read the UV warnings saying the UV rating is 13-14, you can feel it, and see it, in the burns you get.

  • @Goiriath the most likely cause of the changes in the ozone hole is cyclical natural variation rather than a man made trend. this is the point of the video. i am sorry about your situation down in new zealand. please take sensible precautions to protect yourself.

  • im sorry but ozone layer 2006 is false... ozone hole 2006 was record largest hole ever recorded larger than africa! ..... so fix it... :(~

  • @Dcuyouno i will pass your comments on to nasa who provided these dtata and request an update and when i receive it i will make the change you want. thank you for your comment.

  • Hey!! I'm doing a project on ozone layer. Erm.. would you mind if I use your video? I wanted to do it by myself but I cant find pictures. Pleaseee :)

  • @NitNatNes of course. glad to help. :)

  • what song is this? i heard it before but i can't remember where!!

  • @theazn07 it's a mozart piano concerto piece that may be found in the list of musical scores that youtube offers video uploaders

  • @chaamjamal ...um and where can i find that? =S

  • @theazn07 upload a video to youtube. choose dub audio. from the selection of musical pieces select a mozart piano concerto then another and listen until you find the one you are looking for.

  • How did it get so small in 2002?

  • @Astromchaser not sure. don't think we really know the exact cause and effects of these things. the main idea is that the size is naturally variable because of shifting wind patterns in the stratosphere. these winds are responsible for distributing ozone from the equatorial zone where it is formed to the higher latitudes.

  • yes why so small just in 2002?

  • Eu gostei deste vídeo...muito bom!

    "I Liked this vídeo..very good!"

    Happy new yeaer....

  • merci de vos mots aimables

  • this was very educational.

    michael

  • It's not getting any smaller.

  • Well, it looks like at least 2002 had a smaller hole.

  • they had said back then that the ozone hole would continue to grow and that the montreal protocol ban on halogens would start to take effect in 2060 but since the ban, every year that we had a small hole, they said that the size reduction was due to the ban.
