    Any advice?

  • I'm from Spain and the 'C' and 'Z' ARE pronounced like 'S' in Southern Spain, including the Canaries. The 'TH' sound is frm Nothern and Middlands in Spain.

  • gracias!!!

  • Gracias. Yo soy muy gracioso por tu video.

  • Azul= asul in Latin America.

    Azul: athul in Spain.

In conclusion Latin American is the best.

  • I am 11 and have been offered to take Spanish as an Early GCSE.

And I have fogotten it all..

I have forgotten simple words - like how to desribe what i look like in spanish - can anyone help me?

its pretty worth it , 5 stars .

  • Great!!!! Happy Spanish teaching and learning!

  • i am takin spanish class im in the 6th grade and this helps me very much...

    THANK YOU

  • I think you Sir are from America Latin because you pronounce S for C .

I am studing spanish and in Spain is pronounced like TH.

  • That is correct! Thanks for commenting.

    Julio

  • Hola, me llamo Pedro y soy de España. You are right. This Sir has a South America accent because the 'C' in Spanish (Spain,Europe) is pronounced like 'TH' and never as the sound 'S'. HOWEVER the 'C' is pronounced as 'K' in 'Casa' (house, home) BUT can also be pronounced as 'TH' as in the word 'sinCero' (honest). Anyways the video is helpful

  • I thought brown was cafe? Im teaching my son cafe cause its easy 4 him to remember that word instead of marron, he relates it more with the drink coffee also "cafe"....

  • Nothing further from the truth. The word "marrón" is very commonly used in the Spanish speaking world. Do your research and you will see how widely used it is, even more than "café".

    Thanks for your comment.

    Julio

  • Why is Brown "Marron" ?

A Different Video Said Brown Is "Cafe"

    Im Confused. Can Someone Explain?

  • it can be cafe and marron it says on my spanish paper.

    i have no idea.

the spanish language is pretty complicated. @_@

  • its the same marron and cafe whatever!

    you can say this form:

    COLOR CAFE or COLOR MARRON

    its the SAME!!!

    OK

  • some latin countries use café, like Chile, I think Argentina also and Perú. Some others like Venezuela, Colombia, Cuba, etc. use marrón. It´s like the differences you have in english between Australia, England, USA. that´s it...

    bye

    marlen de Chile

  • its the same marron and cafe whatever!

    you can say this form:

    COLOR CAFE or COLOR MARRON

    its the SAME!!!

    OK

  • You are right! Thanks for commenting.

  • great vid

    go vegan

  • Muchas gracias para el video excellente. Yo (knew) todo los colores (except) celeste. (Anybody) quieres ayudar me? Correcte me por favor.

  • knew is supe which is know for saber. Except can be pero or excepto or a excepcion de.

Yo supe todos los colores excepto del color celeste.

  • en realidad es sabía

  • In mexico you dont usually use celeste, it is just a kind of blue, like deep blue, or light blue. if you want to say light blue for example, you can say "azul claro" (claro = light)

and if you want to say deep blue you can say " azul oscuro" (deep is profundo or oscuro, but you can only use deep as oscuro in colors) and you can say oscuro, or obscuro, its okay both ways

  • Thanks, good vid!

  • azul

  • Thanks for making this video! I need to learn how to speak Spanish being that my father is Puerto Rican and my last name is Figueroa, people think right away "You must know or speak Spanish". Not when you are with your other side of your family. Most people want their kids (nowadays) to be "americanized" so they don't teach them their mother tongue. What a mistake!

  • bueno... pero mh... como se dice (violet) en espanol?

  • violeta / morado

  • we use morado...

  • But morado is purple, not brown. :)

  • ya se, yo se....where dis all start I must be referring to sum1 else's comment..Morado is purple YES! but anyway (pero otro vez )we use cafe in my household for brown....Paz!

  • violeta

  • i luv this video i am goin 2 coulmbia soon & this is good pracice!

  • Better than the expert village idiot teacher. Good work.

  • Your videos are really helpful, I'm enjoying them. "Rosa" means Pink in Swedish too. But "Gris" however, means "Pig" here :) I will be learning the colours, muchas gracias! :)

  • How interesting! Thanks for your comments! In a few days, I will upload a series of videos I am creating for advanced students mostly, but I am sure you will enjoy them as well!

    Regards,

    Julio

  • Great, I love your work.

I'm interrested in the spanish language, so keep uploadin those vid's!

I can't find them, but try something on romantics:P

Because I'm unconvenient about expertvillages video.

  • Spanish has a lot more voabulary than english. A very good example is right here: Celeste=light blue

  • actually, English has more words than Spanish, well any language. English keeps changing, Celeste is in our dictionary too, as a name or there's also, Celestial.

  • I liked it ! ^^

  • This is real easy!!!

  • i can't roll my r's

  • See to learn a language, a person has to be forced into it. Babies do not get to go over a vocabulary list and babies are not spoken to and then get a translation of what the person said. This is why babys learn a lengua in like 9 - 18months a people struggle for years. I'm on like spanish 4 for the past 15 years of my life! lol

  • thanks very much :P. 4got ma book at school and needed to learn spanish coloures. ty :P

  • Thank you esaudio. This is really helpful.

  • he is from argentina, but is no different from any other Spanish...

  • I'm a Spaniard and the guy speaking looks from Argentina, but there's no difference between dialects when saying colors.

  • excelente!

  • Muchas gracias a todos por los comentarios. Thank you all for your comments!!!

  • Nicely Done!

  • I Found it easier to remember spanish

  • this is really helpful i really want to learn Spanish so bad
