I knew Nancy in high school in Charleston WV. It is good to see her doing so well. As to authority, it seems simplistic to me to categorically either disrespect authority or respect it. Who the authority is and what they stand for is a more primary question.

We are our own authority. Authority is false ego, so once we reject our own authority, we also subdue all others. Why do people keep saying they need a good leader, a good king, to solve our problems when problem solving and healing are innate to our nature? I need no icons, no superstars, no anybodies who say they're somebodies ruling over me and my life.

I guess I found out that anarchy is actually in my blood line, so it only makes sense I would think the way I do. However, I realize the duality and ambiguity in my life and so I adopt to whatever extent I can without sacrificing principles, unless however it means protecting loved ones.
