If immigration reform passes before 2012 and O wins again you're saying your people would ignore his win challenging the votes of everyone who voted for him claiming he was illegitimate. But its logical to assume he should win again given the magnitude of his first win.Also if it happened Republicans would have the same opportunity to appeal to those voters. Bush jr. and Reagan argued for "amnesty", as the most logical solution.
If you wanted to prevent any direct impact all those new voters would have, you could delay voting rights by a few years to extend the amount of time the parties have to appeal to the new voters, which seems reasonable. I don't see that amount of voters swinging the election given how the electoral college works, Also consider term limits are in effect, so at most you have to deal with 4 yrs where we had to deal with 8 yrs given it was bush's first election that was fraud.

@jstutz2003 actually I'd argue Lincoln was a tyrant, he suspended habeas corpus and disregarded the Constitution. Same can be said about Bush Jr. committing our troops to 2 wars without congressional approval and the passing massive violations to personal freedom in the form of the "patriot" act that were in stark contrast to the Constitution. But then again Dems actually took their responsibility to govern seriously unlike modern Republicans.

How exactly is Obama a tyrant given he was overwhelmingly elected by the people and as such can claim a public mandate. Hell in 2000 Bush didn't even win the popular vote and he claimed a public mandate. Also funny thing about a civil war, the right thinks they are the only ones with guns.

If immigration reform passes before 2012 and O wins again you're saying your people would ignore his win challenging the votes of everyone who voted for him claiming he was illegitimate. But its logical to assume he should win again given the magnitude of his first win.Also if it happened Republicans would have the same opportunity to appeal to those voters. Bush jr. and Reagan argued for "amnesty", as the most logical solution.

If you wanted to prevent any direct impact all those new voters would have, you could delay voting rights by a few years to extend the amount of time the parties have to appeal to the new voters, which seems reasonable. I don't see that amount of voters swinging the election given how the electoral college works, Also consider term limits are in effect, so at most you have to deal with 4 yrs where we had to deal with 8 yrs given it was bush's first election that was fraud.

@atenschnplies - i watch because i like to inform myself with what the progressives in this country are talking about, see where i agree and disagree, etc .. but his style just makes it hard to concentrate on what he’s actually saying. there is a reason news anchors dont flail their arms around and make weird faces- its a distraction to the viewers. I just think he could attract more viewers if he were more polished in his delivery

Is this guy really bragging about losing to FOX? Cenk is a JOKE. I caught a few clips of him on MSNBC and he did that show 10x better than his own show. He tries to make points by adding a weird sense of humor which usually includes making weird faces and flailing his body around.. he should really learn about "what not to do" on camera..
