por desgracia todos estos grandes se fueron antes de tiempo y la mayoria por culpa de la mierda de las drogas ahora y siempre en el reino de los grandes
I'm 42 and a big Janis fan also, since I was about 14..my first car was a '68 VW bug and I hand painted it like Janis' Porsche...everybody loved it! It's pretty cool to lay back and know I'm not the only one enjoying this. Rock-on...
It surely will never be the same w/out these 3,just think what they might today,as they all went so close together I was a teenage hippie and it hurt as much as Lennon got shot.I wish my sons 27 & 28 had a little respect for 60's
Know exactly what you mean, man. Today's young people, some of them anyway, cannot relate to the times. You had to live through them to really understand them. Wish we could bring back all the greats from that time. I was a teenage hippie myself back then just like you. Peace. Keep the 60s faith.
I,m a 52 yr old, raising two granddaughters,I'm still walking around in my bell botton jeans and jean jacket,at least the 8 yr likes me that way,I tried to wear an "old lady" outfit to a school function, she asked me to change back to the usual old hippie clothes or she would be embarassed!Maybe there's so hope yet.
And, a Happy Easter to you too. Like you, I'm also 52 and an STIILL a hippie freak at heart. Though I'm a venture capitalist (Don't shoot me for selling out!), I sometimes like to drag out a Grateful Dead shirt or a Janis shirt to blow peoples' minds. Keep the faith. Peace. There's lots of folks like us still out there. Cool!
I would have loved to have been Janis in a past life! To be able to feel what she felt when she performed... she's incredible to hear/watch. R.I.P. the 3 J's
Yea yea he had nice girlfriend too. xD Jim wasnt angel, he was god, like those in greece mythology, musical genius, seduces even trees, animals with music. Great, nothing else to say.
teeborello: Hendrix has had an impact on EVERY R&R guitar player since he set his guitar on fire at Monterey. He stepped from that stage to HISTORY. I have played in bands and have recorded music since 1966 and Hendrix is still "MY" hero. Way better than Bush. Who is your hero? Let me know.
hahaha, those are some pretty big exceptions. I'm guessing you're from France. You should know better than anyone that without any WWII heroes you'd probably be in a concentration camp taking it up the ass from Hitler.

The French are big arrogant babies who pout and become angry if they can't have their way.
Furthermore they resent/hate America/Americans.
I went there and they abused me. I am French-American and they still abused me.
pierrelily 4 years ago 2
Thats Ironic that you say that because Thats basically what most of America is. Arrogant babies who pout, and their are truckloads of proof.

For myself that's the true heroes, with a lot of influence on young people, still now.
Of course there is others heroes like in second world war or in others wars but except those exceptions they are the heroes of this century
Think about that et puis si t es pas content c'est apreil chacun son avis sans dec
