@conin76 "i think you meant to say 'up-the-date' "
I don't think so, somehow. 'Up-the-date' doesn’t exist, whereas 'up-to-date' does. However, if this is a challenge to a syntax war, bring it on!
Let's start by analysing your comment above. Correct me if I'm wrong but shouldn't your sentence have begun with a capital 'I' and ended with a full stop (known as a ‘period’ in the U.S.A.)?
@MsTeenBirmingham hi . lucky i looked at my emails to see all your other spelling mistakes from all your other emails msstupidbirmingham aka tennesseredneckgir that you removed (cool how youtube lets you open more than one account under the same i.s.p. and make it look like someone agrees with you, isnt it.) silly little girl. grow up and get back to school
I thought that the ABC had finally gotten rid of these cunts. Lets hope that they never get another gig in town, especially on the ABC and JJJ. Fucking Wankers.
yeah, they are taking the piss, but also honoring british comedy, and doing it rarther well, chasers are hilarious and anything they do is gold, so the fact that they impersonated John Cleese is showing that they apreciate british comedy, and its funny :)
These guys are quite obviously fans of Monty Python. You can tell that the guy that plays John Clesse is a big fan, hes obviously been practiscing in front of the mirror for decades. Often people will parody the things that they love. This is a sympathetuc parody. At the end of the day however, apart from Back of the Y Masterpiece Television, when was the last time you heard of a good NZ or Australian Comedy huh? The British rule, its them we get our culture from anyway.
This is actually very accurate and exactly how python did the things that made them famous. The impression of John Cleese and Terry Jones or Eric Idle are very accurate too. If they have seen this i'm sure they will be very proud. Well done
Greatest Python tribute ever. Did anyone else notice Andrew sent up the styles of the whole troup there - obviously Cleese for the whole of the beginning and then at the end: Jones (Mrs Tibbs..) Palin (gumbies), Idle (singing), and Chapham (heart attack)
"The Hanging Gardens of Babylon" Haha thats a line out of the Fawlty Towers ep Communication Problems!! Man Andrew reminds me of Basil so much in this!!
anyone know where i can find the sketch where andrew is a snotty british dude and fears riding a bicycle because he will be the laughing stock of the gentlemans club?
It's called Brightly Bloom the Daffodils. Other than that, I can't say which episode it was at the end of, but I can tell you I'll get to it eventually.
I feel it would have been funny if they had more then just "HAHA were referencing British comedy" funny for a few seconds till they kill the joke.

Fuck everybody who doesn't get the jokes in this program, people are retarded.

They're 'satirising' a show that ceased nearly 40 years ago. Hardly up-to-date.

Although they're bagging Monty Python I don't mind it because they'd obviously have to know a lot of python material to write it.
And that line when he said 'I wasn't expecting this.' should totally have been a lead up to 'no one expects the spanish inquistion.'
He does a good John Cleese impression though.
Sorry Python nerd here.

It's a parody of the Ministry of Funny Walks sketch by Monty Python.
Made clear in the fact that Mr. Hansen is pretty much playing Cleese, and pretty well doing the Funny Walk.
I am Australian.
