  • i would have fixed a parachute in the space just behind the seat, some saving is better than nothing.

  • Come and watch my cri cri flight! youtube.com/watch?v=5T0Xd_YBZZc

  • Awesome plane.

  • is it possible to do rolls in this

  • yeah.... its near fully aerobatic

  • The problem with the turbine was that it melted the epoxy joints. I know the plane you're talking about. It made one 30 minute flight... Idk what happened to the airframe after that.

  • I can't remember where I saw this but I have seen a picture of this A/C with two small turbines mounted in place of the IC engines. It is totally possible to build something like this with turbines these days thanks to the R/C turbine industry. Two turbines producing about 60 #'s of thrust would work great on something this sized.

  • what a pointless comment

  • Those are about the coolest things ever. The only thing cooler would be one with those little jets mounted on the underside of the wings!

  • ok since this seems to be the one mc-15 vid spot thats not littered with a bunch of kids. I was wondering if there is a kit available for purchase in the U.S.? anyone know cause this looks like a fun weekend fly. thanks

  • u can buy them used or THE PLANS NOT A KIT

  • It looks like it could be a handfull . Look at the landing, definately not conventional ultralight landing .

  • Oisiaa2006, depends where you live, ul-rules are different around the globe.

  • in NZ, are these an ultralight or a registered aircraft?

  • The engines are 12 or 15 hp Jpx's in some places you do not need a twin endorsement to fly it, Canada being one of them.

  • You need a twin endorsement in AUstralia. But it shouldn t be needed in everyones opinion excluding casa.. Also in Australia its a registered aircraft and not ultralight. You cant have a twin engined ultralight here so NZ might be the same.

  • I fly near Avalon, i saw VH-CRI and it was awsome. Just wondering do u know of any on the RA-AUS register and if it is possible to be registered as an Ra aircraft

  • dork...hummmm,is that all,prik

  • dork.

  • Hey thanks,Saosinisoa, for a response.i am attempting to build a chainsaw bmx 20 inch 42cc 2 stroke...tell me what you think about that...

  • What avionics would be installed on this plane.

  • Blazerblast: Two Stihl 8hp chainsaw engines (probably ~50cc each)

Oisiaa: Too fast to be an ultralight, so yes.

  • Do you have to have a full up pilots license to fly this thing?

  • Obviously you do.

  • In germany the Cri Cri is registered as an light twin-engined aircraft like a Piper Seneca e.g. So I think you do need a license for fly this thing.

  • can someone tell me the engines cc size?

  • French Homebuilt aircraft taken in New Zealand.
